Position Overview:

The Systems Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of integrated security systems, focusing on CCTV and card access systems. This role involves working closely with clients, project managers, and installation teams to ensure that systems are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Design and Implementation:

- Develop detailed designs for integrated security systems, including CCTV and card access control systems.

- Configure and program system components to meet specific project requirements.

- Oversee the installation and commissioning of systems to ensure they function correctly and meet client expectations.

2. Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

- Provide technical support to clients and internal teams for installed systems.

- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to security systems.

- Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure optimal system performance.

3. Project Coordination:

- Work with project managers to develop project plans, timelines, and resource requirements.

- Coordinate with installation teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule.

- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address any concerns.

4. System Testing and Quality Assurance:

- Conduct thorough testing of installed systems to ensure they meet functional and performance standards.

- Identify and address any issues or deficiencies in system performance.

- Document test results and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain detailed records of system configurations, installations, and maintenance activities.

- Prepare technical documentation, including system diagrams, user manuals, and training materials.

- Provide regular reports to management on project status, system performance, and technical issues.

6. Training and Support:

- Train clients and end-users on the operation and maintenance of installed systems.

- Develop and deliver training sessions for internal teams on new technologies and best practices.

- Provide ongoing support and updates to clients as needed.

- Ensure all work complies with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.

- Follow company policies and procedures for safety and security.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, installing, and maintaining security systems, including CCTV and card access systems.

- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or manufacturer-specific certifications are a plus.

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of security systems, including CCTV and card access control.

- Proficiency in network and IT infrastructure as it relates to security systems.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and specifications.

- Strong communication and customer service skills.

- Physical Requirements:

• Manage and resolve IT logged/reported incidents/requests and identify corrective actions to support operational integrity of the systems.

The core responsibility of this role is to mainly perform monthly patching for RHEL and Windows servers within a dark site environment.

Core Responsibilities:

Monthly patching of RHEL and Windows servers within a dark site environment. (After office hours)

System health checks and issue resolution post-patching to ensure uptime and service continuity.

Review NVA (Network vulnerability assessment) scan reports and remediate issues as needed to maintain compliance and reduce system vulnerabilities.

Key Skills & Requirements:

Understanding of RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) and Windows Server environments.

Experience working in dark site environments (isolated, air-gapped networks).

Proficiency in system administration tasks, such as troubleshooting, log analysis, and system optimization.

Ability to read and interpret scan reports and implement remediation actions accordingly.

Ability to adhere to strict operational processes and security protocols.

2 - 3 years experience, keen attitude to learn and pick up skills

Responsibilities:

• Promote and propose suitable chiller and related equipment to building owners, consultants and contractors
• Identify business opportunities and develop solutions with existing and new customers
• Achieve sale target. Maximise account penetration and customer retention
• Prepare costing and contract quote
• Lead a team of in-house technicians or subcontractors to fulfil jobs assigned
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors in schedule planning & prepare works related reports

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical engineering or its equivalent
• At least 2 years in Engineering sales, experience in HVAC industry will be a plus.
