Our non-governmental organization (NGO), dedicated to improving the lives of low-wage migrant workers, is seeking an experienced Part-Time Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations and ensure our continued growth and sustainability.

ABOUT HOME

The Humanitarian Organization for Migration Economics (www.home.org.sg) is a Singapore-based NGO founded in 2004. HOME is dedicated to empowering and supporting migrant workers who experience abuse and exploitation. We provide immediate crisis intervention, casework support, as well as skills training programmes to achieve our goal of enhancing the wellbeing of migrant workers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Planning and Oversight

• Develop budgets, monitor financial performance, and provide strategic advice to ensure financial sustainability.

Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare financial reports, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage audits and tax submissions.

Grant & Donor Management

• Oversee grant budgets, track expenditures, and ensure funder reporting requirements are met.

Internal Controls & Risk Management

• Establish financial policies, manage risks, and maintain robust internal controls.

Team Collaboration and Leadership

• Supervise the bookkeeper and provide financial insights and leadership to support organisational goals.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the non-profit sector.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, accounting standards, and audit processes.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
• Commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
• Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Job Descriptions:

1. Network Management:

- Design, implement, and maintain the organization's network architecture, encompassing routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, LAN,WLAN,WAN, and voice communication systems.

- Conduct capacity planning to anticipate future network growth and ensure scalability to meet business requirements.

- Develop and maintain IP address planning and management strategies to optimize network addressing and subnet allocation.

- Implement change management processes to minimize disruption during network modifications, upgrades, and deployments.

- Establish network devices configuration baselines and conduct regular monitoring to identify deviations and optimize network performance.

- Plan and oversee network infrastructure upgrades, including hardware and software enhancements, to ensure compatibility, performance improvement, and security compliance.

2. Cybersecurity Operations:

- Develop and implement network security measures to protect the organization's systems and data from unauthorized access, breaches, malware, and other security threats.

- Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting forensic analysis and ensuring timely incident response and resolution.

- Implement and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

- Implement and manage threat event platform to detect and respond to potential security threats in real-time.

- Deploy and manage Honeypot systems to detect and analyze unauthorized access attempts and potential threats.

- Utilize SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) solutions for centralized logging, analysis, and correlation of security events across the network.

- Perform log analysis to identify security incidents, anomalies, and trends, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks and strengthen network defenses.

3. Project Management:

- Plan and oversee network infrastructure and security-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and deployments.

- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to achieve project objectives and deliverables.

4. Incident Response and Disaster Recovery:

- Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures for network and security incidents.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective response, containment, and recovery from cybersecurity incidents and emergencies.

Job Requirements:

• Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator
• Solid background in network administration and architecture
• In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)
• Familiarity with access control models and network security
• Knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g Python, Perl)
• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds network tools)
• Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS)
• Sharp troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently
• Organizational and mentoring skills
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Certifications such as CCIE, CCNP,or equivalent are highly desirable.

• Entertains the gate process in coordination with the VP Customer Success and makes sure to deliver our proposals on time, with the right technical solution and at the winning price;

• Accountable for market updates and financial reporting toward the BL;

We are seeking experienced Project Managers to take ownership of our suite of in-house products, elevate, rejuvenate and relaunch them as our next generation integrated best-of-suite solutions for our clients. As a Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to implement the strategic vision for the product and lead a multi-disciplinary team to design, architect, develop, test and launch the product to market.

JOB DUTIES

• Define a clear, cohesive vision and strategy across the product line including existing and yet-to-be announced product developments. Ensure the vision, objectives and strategy is clearly understood by the various team members across the Creative, Sales and Frontend & Backend Engineering teams.

• Turn customer pains and complex requirements into bite-sized and actionable user-stories that is feasible to be implemented and tested within a well-defined 2-week sprint. Prioritise those with the highest business value to be implemented first.
• Execute beta and pilot programs with early-adopters and track their feedback and enhance the product features set readying it for market release.
• Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product. Prepare product pitch points, feature benefits and sales collaterals to sales teams to enable them to engage potential customers and close sales for the product and product suite.
• Develop key performance metrics for products. Track, monitor and analyse these metrics during beta, early-adopter stages as well as a live product.
• Be recognized as a leader in the product line, build and maintain relationship with the clients, and business stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to team members in terms of project management knowledge, industry knowledge, best practices, communication and documentation skills.
• Source, seek, hire and fill skills and experience gaps among the team members.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computing, Engineering, Product Design or related field.
• Over 5-8 years of related work experience in the domains of project management, business analysis, system analysis, system design, process reengineering and consulting in IT / Tech industry.
• A proven track record of gap analysis, identifying market fit, innovative means of problem solving, designing software products that provide clients with solutions and bringing these products live.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Processing guest check-ins and room assignments following hotel’s rate structures, discounts, sell/upsell strategies and accommodate to special requests whenever possible
• To provide assistance when required for luggage’s, safety box, additional guest room keys, transportation etc.
• Collect payment in compliance with cash handling, credit card processing and accounting policies and procedures
