Job Description

You will be part of the NUS College administrative team working closely with the Vice Dean (Outreach) as well as team leads and team members to oversee, optimise and strengthen administrative processes throughout the Outreach pillar, and provide support in selected outreach efforts. Key Responsibilities:

• Media Relations:Develop and maintain relationships with legal and industry journalists, media outlets, and influencers to secure coverage for the firm’s achievements, thought leadership, and significant cases.
  Write and distribute press releases, pitch stories, and respond to media inquiries to promote the firm’s activities, new hires, and case wins. Coordinate media interviews, speaking engagements, and appearances for attorneys and partners.
  
• Content Development:Draft high-quality content for external communications, including press releases, media advisories, newsletters, blogs, and articles. Collaborate with attorneys to craft thought leadership pieces, case studies, and opinion articles on trending legal topics. Ensure all written content aligns with the firm’s messaging and brand standards.
  
• Brand and Reputation Management:Monitor and manage the firm’s public image and online presence, including overseeing social media content and responses. Track industry trends and competitor media presence to ensure the firm’s reputation remains competitive and relevant. Respond to negative publicity or press inquiries, working with senior management and legal teams to develop appropriate responses.
  
• Event Management and Public Relations Campaigns:Plan and execute publicity events, including press conferences, networking events, seminars, and community outreach programs. Work with the marketing team to support firm events and client-facing communications to maximize exposure. Develop and implement PR campaigns to highlight specific practice areas or special legal achievements.
  
• Collaboration and Reporting:Work closely with the marketing team, partners, and other stakeholders to integrate publicity efforts with the firm’s broader marketing strategies. Measure the effectiveness of publicity campaigns and report on media coverage, analyzing the impact on the firm’s brand and business. Provide ongoing insights and recommendations to improve publicity efforts and media strategies.
  

Roles & Responsibilities

· Oversee and responsible for implementation of internal ERP

· Responsible for the full spectrum of finance and management accounting of the group and its subsidiaries which includes but not limited to strategic planning, forecasting and budgeting, timely preparation and submission of management & statutory accounts, year-end audits, corporate & tax compliance, risk management & internal controls, co secretarial matters standards

· Grant negotiations, applications, administration and management of process, KPI and claims

· Responsible for transactional accounting, General Ledger and Monthly Closing

· Assist in preparation of monthly Management Accounts and Finance Analysis

· Responsible for Accuracy of Expenses Classifications In charge and finalize Profit & Loss Account for events/courses and Account Intercompany charging and reconciliation

· Maintain good Corporate Governance, compliance to internal audits and ISO requirements

· Supervise overseas Finance team to ensure timely and accurate submission of reports and adherence to Group Accounting Policies

· In charge of finance and corporate project(s) such as system implementation, process improvement, policy and procedures to enhance corporate excellence for the organization.

· Coordinate recruitment and selection processes, job offer, internal salary benchmarking and on-boarding, advise on necessary HR procedures and policies, perform monthly payroll, CPF submission and annual income tax and all staff benefit claims

Job Requirements

· Degree in Accounting discipline or at least with ACCA certification.

· At least 6 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, 3 years in audit and 3 years in managerial/supervisory experience.

· Experience in group reporting and consolidation will be an advantage, minimally must be comfortable with mass data and multi business unit environment

· Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously & prioritizing in order to meet deadlines is important

· Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, meticulous and proficiency in Microsoft software and familiar with implementation and management of ERP and future digitalization projects.

· Familiar with government grant environment and proactively negotiate with various agencies.
