Our focus is to support business and product strategies in terms of quality management for products and processes to continuously grow our automotive aftermarket business in APAC. Support our team in digitalization initiatives

• Image Classification: Assist in developing and implementing AI models for classifying customer-submitted photos to support blocked stock decision making.
• Data Collection and Preprocessing: Help gather and preprocess image data for training and validating AI models. 
• Model Training Support: Support the training of AI models using machine learning frameworks and assist in optimizing them for better performance.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of AI models and report findings to the team for further improvements.
• Documentation: Document the processes and results of image classification tasks and contribute to project reports.
• Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure the AI solution aligns with project goals.

As a Quality System Intern, you are to be responsible for the site's document control and records management for compliance to ISO 13485, MDSAP, EU MDR and, Alcon Standards and Policies in our Tuas Site. In this role, a typical day will include:

· Perform archival of electronic documents, based on retention period requirements.

· Identify improvement opportunities and lead/support the implementation activities to improve performance and efficiency

· Ensure no backlog of record archives for electronic documents

· Assist in the migration of new quality system Box (from Alfresco)

· Meet quality objectives set by management & comply to Alcon, QMS and Safety requirements

· Work with cross-functional teams to resolve operational quality issues

· Performs any other duties as assigned by Supervisor according to business needs

· Adhere to Alcon standards, in particular quality, ethical, health, safety and environment (HSE) and information security (ISEC) standards

· Complete project above as per stipulated timeline

1. Drive process optimization in Claims Management

• Perform UAT (User Acceptance Test) on the evolution/ enhancement of a newly developed online tool
• Enhance communication & marketing of new tool - Support roll-out of tool to new sites within APAC

2. Drive improvement in data quality management
