Assist and report to Contract Manager in the following duties: -

Prepare pre-contract cost estimates, prepare tender and contract documentation.

Measurement of all structural and architectural elements in terms of quantities.

Ensure Contract Review and Tender Review to meet customer requirements.

Ensure proper costing or estimates based on conceptual design.

Sourcing of supplier's cost to back tender price, assist in preparing tender bid

Ensure review of variation submission to client.

Analyse cost versus submission price.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of cost control procedures, preparing and analyzing BOQ (Bills of Quantities), cost management and cost planning, and cost reporting. They will work closely with the team to ensure the timely and accurate completion of projects.

Job Description:

• Assist in tender preparation, submission and quotation
• Quantities taking off for tender and ongoing projects
• Sourcing and comparison of costing from various suppliers and budgeting
• Liasing with sub contractor for quotation and procurement of materials
• Project Administration, Contracts variations & documentation.
• Preparation and Submission of Progress Claims
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirement:

• Well versed in MS Office, Bluebeam, AutoCAD etc
• Required language(s): English
• Min 1 year work experience is preferred.
• Knowledge in BIM360 is an advantage
• Diploma/ Degree in Building/Quantity Surveying/Civil Engineering from a recognized University, or from a recognized Polytechnic.

Working Day: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 9am to 6pm

Job Description:

To support the Senior Quantity Surveyor and responsible for assisting in budget calculations, learning how to manage projects according to contractual obligations.

• Review tender documents received from builders/architects/consultants.
• Review contract terms and conditions.
• Obtain quotes from various third party suppliers prior to submit tender return.
• Prepare information for department head as required.
• Prepare tender proposal.
• Submit tender in accordance with deadline indicated in the tender documents.
• Respond to post tender queries.
• Review contractual documentation for items such as the price, delivery period, payment terms.

Requirements:

• Possesses with Diploma in Quantity Surveying or quivalent.
• Able to read and understand drawings and specifications.
• Highly motivated, a good team player and able to work independently.
• Must have essential computer skills to execute work.
• Ability to interpret information from various sources.
• Good knowledge in pricing and contract management.
• Must have good communication skills, mature, responsible and ability to work as part of a team.
