Job Description

You will perform independent radiographic examinations such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) / Angiogram / Computed Tomography (CT) and other imaging modalities and produce good quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care.

Recognised Degree or Diploma in Radiography

Ability to work in a team or independently with minimal supervision

Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills

Meticulous, flexible with the ability to multitask

Willing to commit to 3 rotating shifts and perform on-call duties

Entry level with no experience are welcome

JOB SUMMARY

The radiographer is primarily responsible for day to day performance of X-Ray, MRI and Ultrasound examinations according to department standard operating guidelines.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs general X-Rays, MRI, breast screening and assist radiologist in fluoroscopic examinations.
• Performs image processing and generate films with high quality images for reporting by radiologist.
• Observe radiation safety guidelines compliance in executing radiation to patients.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure consent forms and known allergies are duly documented and signed by patients.
• Inform radiologists on patient allergies.
• Performs portable and theatre X-Ray examinations
• Follow guidelines on segregation of non-conforming products (eg films) for reject analysis which aims to improve quality and performance standard of radiography.
• Exercise responsibility for equipment and specific jobs designated
• Performs any other duties as assigned by HOD
• Performs on call duties as rostered

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• Diploma of College of Radiographer, UK or Diploma in Radiography (NYP) or equivalent
• Qualified radiographer possessing ultrasound skills and a recognized certificate/diploma in medical ultrasound.
• At least 1 year of related working experience

As a Radiographer, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Providing diagnostic imaging services to patients
• Maintenance of imaging equipment
• Ensure safety guidelines as per operating procedures during examination
• Assist in quality improvement projects to ensure optimum standard of work
• ⁠Ensure up-to-date knowledge of radiology safety policy
• Any ad-hoc assignments within the team

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma / Degree qualification in Radiography with valid AHPC registration
