POSITION SUMMARY

As an Senior SAP FICO Consultant, you will own the SAP FICO area. You will provide level 2 and level 3 support (in collaboration with vendors) to Global Gradiant Finance users on SAP S/4HANA system. You will participate in enhancements, projects, training, audit, DR refresh and other such activities. Maintain good rapport with users and constantly search for improvements in the SAP FICO space including identifying training needs and system changes.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

• Provide support for Global Finance business stakeholders to ensure the questions/tickets are resolved within SLA in a manner approved by the stakeholders.

• Coach junior team members

• Lead junior team members for complex CRs and incidents

• Update tickets in the Service Management tool in a timely manner.

• Provide solutioning expertise, technical expertise, value addition and guidance in system configuration for SAP FICO areas.

• Manage ERP stakeholders and external vendors to manage enhancements and evaluating and testing new functionalities and ensuring smooth transitions.

• Develop and deliver training programs to educate end-users on ERP system functionalities and promote effective system utilization.

• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in SAP FICO area to recommend system improvements and drive continuous optimization.

• Be the Resident Subject Matter expert (SME) with regards SAP FICO area

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies, analysing data, and implementing innovative ERP solutions with a view to reducing SAP FICO incidents.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• S/4HANA Public cloud experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• 10-15 years of experience in SAP FICO support and/or implementation
• Multiple SAP S/4HANA experience in project or support capacity
• Expertise in the areas of SAP FICO General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Accounting (AA), Project Systems
• Integration experience with SD, MM, PS, PP
• Experience in manufacturing industry
• Experience with tools such as ServiceNow or JIRA
• Finance domain knowledge
• Good to have SAP Concur or SAP S/4HANA for Group Reporting or SAP Analytics cloud (SAC)

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven track record of successfully supporting SAP FICO area.
• Participation in ERP implementations, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, and training.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail
• Strong understanding of Finance business processes and their integration with ERP systems, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing business needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in relevant ERP systems is a plus.
