Job Overview

The Assistant Front Office Manager leads the Guest Services team and takes key responsibility for the guest experience aspect of the Hotel. You will be accountable for the Guest Services team’s execution of consistent Holiday Inn Express Guest Experience. You will ensure that all procedures and operations for the Guest Services team will be in line with brand standards, employee welfare and guest experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

Financial Returns:

· Preparation of the annual departmental operating budget.

· Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on increasing productivity.

· Responsible for Front Office inventory, managing cost and usage.

· Analyze financials to drive revenues, future profitability, and maximum return on investment.

· Assist with third party vendor induction and support in managing the performance of third party vendors

People:

· Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflicts and improve Guest Services Team performance and engagement.

· Ensure all team members are accurately trained and have the job related tools and equipment required.

· Promote “one team approach” and quality service through daily communication and coordination and drive employee engagement.

· Develop programs that drive improvements in employee engagement and are aligned with the Stay Real Be You brand service behaviors.

· Develop, implement and monitor team member succession planning to ensure future bench strength for Holiday Inn Express brand.

· Establish performance and development goals for team members and provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to enhance performance.

· Responsible for Guest Services Team training and rostering

Guest Experience:

· Custodian of the guest satisfaction goals including Guest Love, Loyalty Recognition and Problem Resolution. Collaborate with team members to establish and implement services and programs to constantly improve guest experience.

· Advise employees of development needs and instruct on action plans. Provide retraining as needed.

· Make time to interact with guests, solicit feedback and build relationships.

· Lead a team to respond to guest complaints, special requests and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.

· Understand and respond to customer’s needs and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.

· Demonstrate BrandHearted behaviors by maintaining compliance with all brand standards, behaviors, hallmarks and license agreement mandates.

· Support GSAs’ in all guest services tasks.

· Maintain Great Room environment and ensure F&B tasks are also being focused on by Guest Services.

Responsible Business:

· Maintain and order Front Office supplies and equipment in a timely and efficient manner while minimizing waste and maintaining “green” initiatives (example: container recycling, and cleaning agents).

· Accountable for IHG fire life safety (FLS) adherence in the hotel.

· Responsible for the security of lost and found items throughout the hotel.

· Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, team members and hotel assets in compliance with hotel or owner policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.

· Develop and carry out action plans to be environmentally conscious, take steps to reduce the hotel’s carbon footprint.

· Educate and train team members in compliance with federal, state and local laws and safety regulations.

Accountability

Account Manager, Healthcare

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and implementing digital transformation strategies aligned with our clients' business goals. This person will be the primary point of contact with clients and will be responsible for their projects. He/She will need to foster a strong working relationship internally with the creative/production team as well as externally with clients on the approval of campaigns and contents. Qualications and Skills

● At least 3-5 years of prior experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry

● Ability to conceptualize medical content and the analysis of data from clinical papers, assimilating them into slide presentations or reports

● Basic to Intermediate understanding of digital and social media platforms, their features and audiences

● Knowledge of Facebook Ad Manager and experience in running ad campaigns is a bonus

● Superior collaboration and teamwork skills; experience working with cross-functional teams

● Project management experience and adaptability: Ability to re-prioritise while operating within a fast paced environment, while continuously maintaining attention to detail, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines

Roles & Responsibilities / Job Description

The FSM shall be in charge of the following:

➢ Implement control of Flammable Material into the tunnel according to the

Company’s requirement. Training to be provided to Tunnel Attendants to

conduct such checks.

➢ Implement tunnel emergency evacuation plan according to the Company’s

tunnel SOP. Training to be provided to SIC, 2SIC and workers.

➢ Conduct weekly spot checks and inspection on flammable material in tunnel

per tunnel zone.

➢ Documentation with photos of weekly spot check per tunnel zone to be

submitted to the Company/Engineer on a weekly basis.

➢ Plan monthly fire drill at each tunnel zone of work and submit the fire drill report to the Company/Engineer.

➢ When required, participate in meetings and fire drill with SCDF and the

Company/Engineer.

➢ Plan, document and implement tunnel evacuation plan

➢ Coordinate directly with Distribution Control Centre (DCC), Tunnel Control

Centre (TCC) and all other Contractors working in the tunnel on the monthly fire

drill.

➢ The contractor shall be the main occupier at site and the FSM shall ensure that

all WSHC are equipped to provide Safety Induction Course for all workers

working in the Tunnel, including other Contractors.

➢ FSM shall work in collaboration with the Contractor to finalise the material for

the SIC course. FSM is to keep an attendance sheet record of SIC training

provided and to provide a sticker on the safety helmet with date stamp after the

worker attends the SIC course. The SIC course is to be conducted weekly, or

as and when required.

Qualification & Experience

Qualification of FSM according to SCDF requirement with minimum two (2) years of relevant experience.

• Revenue management by maintaining accuracy and overseeing the distribution strategy of the hotel and manage day-to-day yield operations.
• Setting Pricing Strategies to determine and set competitive room rates to stay in the limelight and earn higher revenue.
• Monitoring competitor performance; Effective yield management; Initiating promotions to generate business at key times.
• Optimize and expand distribution partnerships and yield management through Third Party Internet (TPI) / Online Travel Agent (OTA) website and own Global distribution System (GDS).
• Understand the Sales/Reservation flow and various booking channels, which would be key to correlating to area of performance management (Revenue generating and performance reporting).
• Maximize room revenue through both average room rate and occupancy percentage through efficient Revenue Management processes.
• Maintain all pricing within Opera PMS and third-party distribution channels.
• Ensure that price parity is maintained through all third-party distribution channels.
• Ensure correct rate positioning is achieved across all market segments for rooms.
• Compile and communicate clear and concise pricing policies for all current pricing and packages.
• Stay updated with market trend and new revenue tools and or software applicable for serviced suites to improve seamless connectivity with partners.
• Submit RFP for Travel Consortia. Support Sales in Corporate Rates Loading.
• To conduct regular audits to ensure that all channels of distribution are managed in accordance with strategies and guidelines.
• To prepare analysis and reports on rate and inventory management and strategy effectiveness on all on-line sales strategies; including scheduled and ad-hoc reports.
• Recognise and correct any rate parity issues with internet booking sources and Best Rate Guarantee claims.
• To propel key market strategies by identifying opportunities for incremental revenue through analyses, supporting tactics to include the establishment of differential pricing based on market segments, demand, positioning, etc.
• To ensure competitive research and market intelligence through to the setup of a system of competitive price shopping, continuous monitoring of competitor performance, strategies, demand, supply etc.
• To ensure that all channels of distribution - l.e, direct sales, GDS, and the internet - are fully optimized without any conflict in distribution, representation and positioning.
• To ensure the hotels data set on CRS, GDS, PMS, S&C System and RMS remains current and correct.
• To direct reservations by training pertinent departments on revenue management techniques and its execution, managing reservations goals, and providing daily/weekly selling guidelines/strategies for agents and pertinent accounts,
• To drive revenue management culture throughout the hotels, by educating hotels' staff on Revenue Management concepts and techniques (overselling. pricing, upselling, etc).
• To assist the Director of Sales & Marketing in review of monthly forecast, reporting and annual sales budget for senior management approval.
• To assist the Director of Sales & Marketing in exercising all reasonable care in safeguarding the hotels and the hotel’s propriety information.
• To aid in the department’s administrative tasks and ad-hoc project processes.
