KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Platform responsibility (Core Wound Closure including Plus Sutures & CV)
- Develops tactical and operational Strategic Marketing plans and contributes to cutting-edge research and market analysis.
- Assesses brand awareness and reputation in the community to shape new marketing initiatives for company products and services.
- Collaborate with markets, cross functional teams on strategic plans and industry insight to capitalize on potential opportunities.
- Manage the product lifecycle, pricing and portfolio optimization in the region
- Lead NPI and launch excellence across the core wound closure platform with cross-functional teams, GSM and country marketers
- Undertake market research activities as needed to uncover unmet needs and portfolio gaps
- Collaborate with functions, GSM and country teams to execute on initiatives and drive best practices
- Work with key regional surgical associations to build external leaderships for wound closure
- Support country marketing on technical product inquiries related to respective platforms, providing appropriate product information, including technical data & clinical inputs
- Actively engage with functional partners on forecasting optimize forecasts and supply to meet business objectives
Qualifications - External
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- 5-10 years of overall experience in medical device or healthcare industry
- 3+ years of marketing (product and brand) experience preferred
- 2+ years of sales experience preferred
- Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies is preferred
- Experience with thought leader and faculty development and management and development is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, project management and organizational influence skills are required.
- Good interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on leadership, relationship development, and influence management is preferred.
