Areas of Focus:

Design Guidance Projects

• Support and/or co-lead projects contributing industrial design, design engineering, systems design or product-service-systems development skillset.

About the Design Innovation Team

The Design Innovation team is a group of world-leading interdisciplinary designers, technical professionals, and researchers leading the world of design. The Design Innovation team functions to develop fundamental and ground-breaking results in design science as well as to fulfil the mission of a better world by design through a porous interface with industry, government, and social projects. This interface allows for a seamless integration of empirically grounded design methodologies that directly lead to outcomes with positive impacts at the social, media, and technological levels. The team is highly multi-disciplinary and leverages the ethos of a human-centred design approach with fundamental scientific studies in technology to create solutions to real world wicked problems, opportunities, and grand challenges.

• We seek out for a researcher with a PhD in Physics or similar. In particular the candidate is expected to have a strong back ground in many-body quantum physics with extensive experience in tensor networks and neural network quantum states.
• The researcher will work on developing the numerical approaches and apply them to areas such as quantum thermodynamics, many-body quantum systems out of equilibrium and biology.
• High competence in parallel programming and GPU programming is preferred.

The Laboratory of Surgical System & Service Innovation (3SI) is a multi-disciplinary laboratory that provides a platform for cutting-edge surgical health services research that informs healthcare systems, policies, and programs to provide high-value, patient centered care for patients and their families undergoing surgery.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, meticulous, and responsible research fellow or senior research coordinator with expertise and experience in qualitative research methods to complement the team. You will be part of a holistic clinical and health services research team whose mission is to improve clinical outcomes for seriously ill patients in surgery.

Among others, your role will focus on qualitative and ethnographic research, and this may include assisting with study design, implementation, in-depth qualitative interview, coding, and qualitative analysis.

A Research Officer position is immediately available at the laboratory of molecular mechanism and targeted therapy, Division of Cellular and Molecular Research, National Cancer Centre Singapore and Duke-NUS Medical School. The Laboratory of Applied Human Genetics at the National Cancer Centre Singapore is a multi-disciplinary laboratory with specific focus on peritoneal malignancies and sarcoma. The direction of our laboratory is to solve real world clinical problems via sound scientific translation. Since the conception of our laboratory 7 years ago, we have now set up three scientific pillars of Therapeutics, Companion Diagnostic and CAPTIVATE (Target Generation) pipeline. Currently, we are working towards a first-in-human therapeutic developed in our laboratory. We are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic and highly motivated Research Fellow to work with a team of researchers in the area of cancer therapy for advanced metastatic cancers. Interested applicants should have an extensive molecular biology experience to uncover the MOA/structure of our therapeutic using cellular signaling, cell biology or protein structure approaches and possess the desire to translate basic science to make a clinical impact. Previous work with genomic / CRISPR / proteomic screens (or similar) to understand the molecular biology of key oncogenic drivers will be an added advantage.

The TD&C office serves as the programme office for strategic research collaborations with industrial partners. The Executive/Senior Executive will be an integral part of the programme’s team and support the large collaborations by facilitating critical aspects of the programme such as:
