Postdoctoral Scientist position

A postdoctoral scientist position is available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Leslie Beh at IMCB.

The Beh lab seeks to develop cutting-edge CRISPR-Cas technologies to uncover the biological functions of RNA modifications. Dysregulation of these modifications has been linked to cancer, neurological disorders, and metabolic disease. We will determine the mechanisms by which RNA modifications and CRISPR-Cas systems operate by drawing upon diverse techniques, including protein engineering, biochemical reconstitution, genomics, and cell-based experiments. Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Life Sciences / Biomedical Sciences

This role involves creating proofs of concept (PoCs) or software at higher Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs), developing new algorithms, and leading R&D teams to push the boundaries of what is possible with PETs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and Development: Lead innovative research projects to develop new algorithms that enhance the efficiency, security, and applicability of PETs like MPC and HE.
