AML Transaction Monitoring

• To review and investigate system-generated or any alerts, to determine the next course of action
• Conduct further investigations, if necessary, by engaging relevant stakeholders to obtain the required information to ensure proper closure
• To close the alerts promptly and maintain proper documentation on the rationale of the closure
• To assist the Team Lead for key reporting to management and various stakeholders

Other function(s)

• Work closely and support other AML compliance teams to strengthen and further mitigate residual AML/CFT risks
• Work with other business units to foster good working relationship to increase the level of AML/CFT awareness
• Perform any task or participate in projects as required by management
• Work closely, and support other teams within the Compliance Department

Job Purpose:
The Clinical Governance Officer (CGO) is responsible for ensuring the clinical services provided by the healthcare institution adhere to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. The CGO plays a pivotal role in implementing and monitoring clinical governance frameworks, policies, and procedures as per the Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines and the Healthcare Services Act 2020 in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

Healthcare Services Act 2020 - General Regulations 2021, Regulation 15(1)(a).

1. Clinical Governance and Oversight:
o Provide clinical governance and technical oversight over the licensable healthcare service or specified service.
o Assist the licensee in the day-to-day management of the clinical and technical aspects of the licensable healthcare service or specified service.

2. Policy Implementation and Review:
o Ensure the implementation and regular review of policies and systems for clinical governance, clinical risk management, effective quality management systems, and any other clinical and technical related matters.
o Identify and remedy any weaknesses or inadequacies related to clinical or technical aspects, informing the licensee and proposing preventive measures.

3. Compliance and Standards:
o Ensure that personnel involved in clinical or technical aspects comply with appropriate policies and processes concerning clinical and technical standards.
o Maintain close supervision, adequate training, and regular competency assessments of personnel to enable them to perform their work effectively and safely.

4. Risk Management:
o Detect and address in a timely manner any risks affecting patient safety, welfare, or continuity of care.
o Immediately notify the licensee of any matter that may affect compliance with any license condition.

5. Availability and Accessibility:
o Be available to handle matters requiring the CGO's attention or appoint suitably qualified personnel if unavailable.

Panel Assistant Position (Part-time) in Singapore SSC

We are looking for a proactive individual to join our sensory team as a part-time Sensory Panel Assistant for a 9 month fixed term contract based in Singapore.

The Sensory Panel Assistant reports to the Sensory Manager, assisting them to ensure that sensory projects run smoothly by managing all activities related to the sensory panels’ sessions, overseeing sensory laboratory productivity, and supervising kitchen technicians.

This will be a 9 month fixed term contract starting immediately, running until September 2025

Hours of Work: 3 days - Tuesday and Thursday 9-6pm and Wednesday 9-1pm

Flexibility required according to panel schedule (additional time may be required if more panel sessions or reduced hours if panel session hours are shorter)

Responsibilities:

• To assist in all aspects of the running of the Sensory Panel sessions including research, source, prepare and manage products and sensory references for sensory panel sessions
• Receive, store, inventory and prepare samples/materials for all sensory panel sessions
• Ensure that all activities carried out comply with basic food hygiene standards within the laboratory – Basic food hygiene training will be provided.
• To ensure the Sensory Panel working area is prepared appropriately in good time for each session and cleared/cleaned after
• To manage day to day activities of support technicians/helper/cleaners where they are available for more basic or routine tasks
• To assist in the preparation and set up of recruitment screening sessions, making up screening solutions/products, and facilitating the sessions with candidates in the booth area
• To monitor the quality of food samples and test procedure and ensure appropriate records are maintained.  This includes temperature logs for freezers/fridges, cooking logs, inventory logs with BB/Use by dates.
• To assist the Sensory SRE/Manager or any other member of the Sensory Science Centre with any other tasks as required.      
• Responsible for general maintenance and organization of work areas ensuring escalation of any issues if cannot be resolved on own

• To assist in the preparation and set up of recruitment screening sessions, making up screening solutions/products, and facilitating the sessions with candidates in the booth area
• To monitor the quality of food samples and test procedure and ensure appropriate records are maintained.  This includes temperature logs for freezers/fridges, cooking logs, inventory logs with BB/Use by dates.
• To assist the Sensory SRE/Manager or any other member of the Sensory Science Centre with any other tasks as required.      
• Responsible for general maintenance and organization of work areas ensuring escalation of any issues if cannot be resolved on own
• Creation of clear and logically formatted product inventories for every project making use of templates where appropriate, collating product detail in PowerPoint format using MMR templates and formatting.
• Assist with documentation of project samples by collation of pictures throughout the project cycle – e.g. pictures of pack, product preparation, product serve, references and any other detail relevant for sharing with client or for future understanding by the project team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic Food Hygiene qualification / an aptitude for food preparation with limited supervision needed

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Being able to function well within a team
• Able to work independently, a self-starter who likes to take initiatives with a logical, analytical mind.
• Computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. (Training will be given in the relevant software packages)
