General Overview

The position is part of the site Instrument, control and electrical (ICE) team that provides maintenance and technical support to the Operations and Project teams in the LNG Terminal. We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our team.

You will be part of a data team deployed at a government agency identified as a strategic partner for GovTech, building out data products critical to WOG’s ops and service delivery as identified under the Digital Government Blueprint (DGB2.0) programme. You would operate in close alignment to Data and AI Practice's approach and philosophy, and would be closely supported by central GovTech products and platforms teams. This role requires an individual with experience in cloud-based data engineering work, as well as good communication skills, as you will be expected to interact frequently with the partner agency's users to elicit useful business information that enables you to perform your job.

• Translate data requirements from business users into technical specifications.
