General Overview

Roles and ResponsibilIties

The incumbent shall be responsible for tasks and duties such as but not limited to the following:

• Maintenance of process on-stream and laboratory analyzers
• Work on continuous improvement projects to resolve any issues related to correct functioning of process stream analyzers
• Develop and update standard operating procedures for all process stream analyzers, sampling and laboratory equipment
• Manage and oversee the laboratory operations with laboratory service provider
• Upkeep laboratory related documents such as safety, quality manuals, standard operating procedures (SOP) and laboratory logbooks delivered by vendor
• Addressing customers’ queries related to measurement and quality management

Work Experience

• 5 to 8 years of experience in maintenance of various process analyzers such as Gas Chromatography, Wobbe index analyser, HydroCarbon Dewpoint analyzer, THT analyzer, Auto-sampler etc.
• Previous experience in design, installation, commissioning, maintenance of instrumentation and analyzer systems in oil and gas/petrochemical industry/Analyzer vendor is required
• Knowledge in ISO17025 - general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.

Education & Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; preferably in Chemical/Electrical/Electronic or equivalent.
• In addition, the successful candidate should possess the following personal attributes:

1. Strong knowledge of various type of analyzers and sampling systems
2. Highly analytical and meticulous.
3. A team player and possess strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
4. Excellent negotiating and influencing skills to manage external and internal stakeholders and third parties

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support:
   • Provide first- and second-line support for hardware and software Installation.
   • Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, and peripheral problems to ensure minimal downtime.
   • Respond to service requests and incidents in a timely manner.
2. Hardware & Software Management:
   • Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop operating systems (Windows/Mac/Linux).
   • Install and update software applications and drivers.
   • Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions.
3. Asset Management:
   • Manage IT inventory, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
   • Ensure proper documentation and tracking of IT assets.
4. Network Support:
   • Assist with basic network troubleshooting (e.g., connectivity, printer access).
   • Support VPN, wireless, and LAN/WAN configurations as required.
5. Collaboration & Training:
   • Work closely with other IT teams to resolve escalated issues.
   • Provide user training for new hardware or software implementations.
6. Security & Compliance:
   • Ensure devices are compliant with company security policies and standards.
   • Conduct regular updates and patches to maintain system integrity.

Key Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience (2+ years) in a similar desktop support or IT helpdesk role.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365.
• Knowledge of basic networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
• Experience with remote support tools like TeamViewer, AnyDesk, or SCCM.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

· Develop detailed project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.

· Planning and follow up all new and retrofit projects of Sterile filling for the manufacturing site

· Responsible for development of SOPs, quality standard, development, and execution of Qualification protocols with following site QMS procedures.

· Responsible for managing a team of vendors / contractors.

· Techno commercial evaluations of consultants, vendors, and contractors.

· Coordinating with statutory authorities for relevant approvals.

· Complying with operational and personnel standards, regulatory and statutory requirement to ensure efficient, reliable, and uninterrupted operation.

· Ensuring best available technologies are incorporated by design.

· Delivering the project within the budget and timeline approved.

· Ensure smooth handing over of the project to end-users, coordinate and ensure deliverables as per plan.

· Ensure to maintain the highest standards for cGMP requirements for the manufacturing site.

· Ensure to meet required the regulatory requirements (e.g. HSA, FDA etc.) and keep the site audit ready all the time.

· Achieve financial objectives through efficient project management.
Qualifications

Education:

· Bachelor’s / master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

· Project management certification: PMP or PRINCE2

Experience:

· Proficient / experienced in the Microsoft project software and project tracking.

· Proficient / experienced in AutoCAD.

· 3~5 years of experience in the green field / brown field area project management.

· Capability handles the pharma project from USD 2-5 million.

Soft Skills:

· Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

· Good investigation and report writing skills.

· Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.(GMP, PICs)
