This role in our technology squad is embedded in a high caliber, cross functional team that develops and executes our exciting technology strategy to deliver better outcomes for our business and customer.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be working with an agile and innovative team and build on your technical expertise with a myriad of technologies, projects and platforms to deliver our business priorities and conquer technical challenges.

What You'll be Doing

• Support the delivery of projects in all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle including system analysis, design, development, quality assurance, UAT, maintenance and ongoing support.
• Develop pragmatic and fit for purpose solutions of high technical quality.
• Work with stakeholders to define and clarify functional requirements and scope to deliver robust cost-effective solutions.
• Maintain software design, engineering processes and quality standards.
• Identifying and addressing bottlenecks in the application or broader infrastructure.
• Assist with ad-hoc duties assigned by Manager.

What We Are Looking for

• Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related fields.
• At least 2 years’ experience in full stack PHP development.
• Knowledge of PHP web frameworks, e.g. Lavarel and Codelgniter.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5.
• Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese language, as this role will requires to frequently liaise with Taiwan counterparts.
• Proficient with code versioning tools including Git.
• Familiarity with MySQL databases.
• Highly collaborative team player, detail-oriented and passionate with technology.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, exciting environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site installation, troubleshooting and debugging of autonomous vehicle (AV) systems and related components.
• Conduct and facilitate regular inspections, diagnostic tests, and scheduled maintenance for all vehicle assets.
• Assist in routine data collection and documentation optimization or preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate operational activities including scheduling, resource allocation, and route optimization for the AV fleet
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate coordination between technical tasks and operational requirements.
• Any other additional duties relating to product and operations support.

Requirements:

• An Engineering diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Robotics, or Automation.
• Hands-on experience in systems deployment, service engineering, technical support, and/or operations coordination.
• Capability to adjust to a shift-based support working environment.
• Experience working in Linux OS environment.
• Practical expertise in electrical and electronic wiring as well as mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with ROS is a plus.
• A Class 3/4 driving license will be an added advantage.

· Preparation of tender documents & quotation and submission to client.

· Continually seek new opportunities and too increase customer satisfaction and well relationship with client.

· Develop and maintain viable long-term relationships with Clients & Sub-contractor.

· Manage construction activities including planning, coordination, execution and monitoring of installation and construction works on site.

· Maintain good quality standards, carry out site inspections and resolve technical issues on time.

· Provide project estimation cost, analysis reporting for ongoing cost, manage allocation of costs.

· Execute projects with minimal supervision within budget & schedule

· Drive the work force with friendly relationship.

· Responsible for material procurement, subject to the client approved specification and on time requirement to site.

· Conduct project progress reports, client updates and drive internal and clients’ progress meetings.

· Prepare risk assessment and method of statements.
