Primary Function

- To be sales driven and customer oriented and increase product sales

- To raise awareness of product and build customer’s interest.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Daily Scope of job:

- Actively Promote item such as oven, vacuum cleaner and cooking appliances to customers.

- Present product features, benefits, and technical specifications to customers.

- Build strong relationships with customers to drive product awareness and sales.

- Work in dynamic environments such as departmental store and atriums.

- Achieve monthly sales target to earn attractive incentives and commissions

- Collaborate with sales team to achieve targets

2. Weekly/Monthly Scope of Job:

- Participate in new product training and development activities to update skills and knowledge.

- Monthly sales meeting in office

3. Others:

- Require wearing uniform in neat and pleasant appearance.

- Always perform a pleasant and patient attitude to customers.

4. Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirement

- Able to commit weekdays and weekends. (6 days workweek)

- Enthusiastic and comfortable engaging with customers.

- Sales-driven, with a passion for promoting quality products.

- Willingness to work in different retail environments.

- A team player who is proactive and highly motivated.

• Attend to customer inquiries, quotations, and taking of orders from the customers. Involved in the coordination works for fulfilling the customer's order requirements.
• Organize sales presentations and ensure that all sales presentation materials are prepared prior to deadlines.
• Contact customers to answer basic procedural questions or to gauge their level of satisfaction with the company.
• Collaborate with the sales staff to monitor active purchase orders and make sure that orders are completed on time.
• Report any inventory or service issues to management and the appropriate Sales Manager immediately
• Understand customer's requirements, provide advice and assistance to customers with regard to technical issues.
• Able to work independently, strong initiative as well as a team player.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Preferably with 1-2 years of sales support working experience. Relevant experience in Marine Industry is an added advantage.
• Minimum GCE ‘O’ level.
• Good communication skills & good computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge in SAP system is preferred.
• Able to start work immediately.

Responsibilities:

· Expand and develop current and new overseas markets.

· Handle overseas customer accounts via indoor sales, with occasional travel required.

· Engage and communicate with overseas customers to promote products.

· Cold call and build a new overseas client base.

· Respond to customer inquiries and provide independent price quotations.

· Meet minimum sales targets.

· Process orders using the JDE system.

· Manage sales quotations, orders, shipments, and payments.

· Handle customers complaint, if any.

· Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· At least GCE “O’ levels or equivalent

· At least 2-3 years sales experience (outdoor/indoor)

· Customer service oriented and have a great sense of urgency

· Able to work independently as well as in a team

· Proficient in MS Excel and Word

· With trading business background is preferable

· Knowledge on JD Edwards will be an added advantage

· Must be willing to work in Jalan Besar (Nearest MRT : Lavender)
