• Build and sustain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Conduct daily telemarketing and cold calls to promote the company’s shipping services.
• Actively follow up on sales leads and liaise with overseas agents for information.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and liftings to achieve monthly sales targets.
• Send quotations, follow up with customers, and secure shipments.
• Send Bills of Lading (B/Ls) to customers and assist with bookings when required.
• Address and resolve any issues or problems raised by customers promptly.
• Monitor sales performance and progress to meet or exceed monthly targets.
• Participate in customer sales visits upon readiness and as required

What it takes:

• Min 1 year and above of sales experience in Freight Forwarding or Shipping Lines industry
• Preferable if have own transport
• Proactive and customer-focused mindset
• Ability to handle multiple tasks

Responsibilities

Spare Parts Enquiries & Sales Support

• Respond to spare parts inquiries from customers and ensure accurate information is provided.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to gather pricing and availability details.
• Issue quotations for spare parts in a timely and accurate manner.

Order Management & Delivery

• Monitor and track spare parts orders from receipt to delivery.
• Ensure parts are received as per order specifications.
• Arrange and coordinate delivery schedules for customers, working with logistics and warehouse teams.

After-Sales Support

• Provide post-sale customer service, including answering inquiries and assisting with any issues or concerns regarding parts.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating troubleshooting efforts with technical teams or departments when needed.

Cross-Departmental Coordination

• Collaborate with technical and service teams to ensure that customer issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
• Ensure that all necessary documentation, reports, and follow-up actions are completed in a timely manner.

Administrative Support

• Maintain accurate records of customer orders, quotations, and delivery schedules.
• Assist in tracking inventory levels and ensuring orders are fulfilled without delays.

Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management from time to time

Requirements

• ITE certificate or equivalent, no experience is welcome
• Proven experience in sales support, customer service, or a related role, experience in spare parts or technical sales is a plus
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and be proactive in problem-solving.
• Familiarity with sales software, CRM systems, and basic office tools (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Technical knowledge or an ability to understand basic technical products and issues is preferred.
• East, 5 days 9am to 6pm, basic + AWS.
