Job Scope:
o Manage and maintain proper inventory and conditions of Science equipment and materials.
o Housekeeping of the laboratories and preparation rooms.
o Assist teachers in the preparation of materials for the conduct of laboratory and E2K lessons; and assist the Science teachers during laboratory lessons.
o Assist in the creation of manipulatives for use in teaching and learning of Science.
o Support teachers in conducting Science activities during recess, when necessary.
o Take charge of the maintenance of the animals such as birds, frogs and stick insects and their enclosures in the school.
o Assist in the watering/care of plants in the Eco, Butterfly, Rooftop and Community In Nature (CIN) Gardens on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Requirements:
1. Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level
2. Minimum 3 years of similar working experience in a school
3. Good communication and inter-personal skills
4. Excellent team-player who is organized and has good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office
6. Takes initiative in completing assigned tasks and work independently
Working Arrangement:
· Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 4.15pm
· Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Contract Period: From 2 May 2025 to 30 April 2026 (option to extend till 2027)
