ABOUT THE ROLE:

As an Manager in the F&B sector, you will report to the Operations Manager (OM) and join the Operations Team on an exciting journey. This role offers opportunities to deepen your understanding of managing food courts and coffee shops.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operations:

• Lead a team of Food Court salespersons to achieve sales targets and enhance overall outlet performance.
• Guide F&B Supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Set clear directions and provide guidelines to the operations team in accordance with company SOPs and workflows.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, relevant authorities/agencies, and stall tenants.
• Support inspections from authorities (e.g., NEA, SFA, Civil Defense) during outlet evaluations and follow up on necessary actions.
• Collaborate with landlords on building matters, joint promotions, and events.
• Market food stalls to tenants and ensure timely rental collections.
• Oversee lease renewals, negotiate terms, and follow up with stall tenants.
• Source qualified tenants and food offerings to fill vacant stalls, ensuring full occupancy.
• Propose activities based on market demand.
• Initiate prompt legal actions for debt recovery (e.g., stall rentals) to minimize credit losses.
• Manage daily sales settlements.
• Partner with Business Development and Project teams to identify new business opportunities and oversee renovations.
• Ensure financial and operational performance for the designated food courts and coffee shops.
• Collaborate with senior management and financial teams on outlet budgets.
• Develop comprehensive business plans and provide regular performance reports, including sales and budget analyses, to senior management.
• Suggest strategies to improve the profitability of outlets.
• Uphold and enhance quality and service standards.
• Mentor employees through ongoing feedback and performance expectations.
• Conduct regular inspections of hygiene, service quality, and product standards, providing feedback to stall tenants.
• Ensure stall pricing aligns with agreements.
• Evaluate the performance of stall tenants.
• Supervise stall tenants and cleaning contractors to maintain high service quality and cleanliness.
• Conduct weekly and monthly outlet meetings.
• Ensure maintenance and engineering work proceeds according to schedule.

Administration:

• Review staff performance and recommend actions for confirmations, promotions, and training.
• Address disciplinary issues, grievances, and conflicts within the team.
• Manage termination procedures in line with company guidelines.
• Effectively communicate company policies and procedures to team members and stall tenants.
• Oversee outlet float, petty cash, and daily sales collections.
• Ensure accuracy in daily sales reporting and timely banking.
• Submit outlet reports promptly.
• Prepare and submit monthly reports to senior management.
• Implement cost control measures for all expenses according to budget.
• Take necessary actions against stall tenants and contractors for non-compliance with service standards and agreements.
• Perform any other assigned tasks as needed.

What you will do:

• Responsible for managing Foam Agent and Foam Hardware demand creation and sales activities in South East Asia, reporting to the Territory Sales Manager, Asia.
• Based upon close assessment of ongoing projects, formulate and provide monthly order bookings and sales revenue forecasts. This will include analysis of potential risks and opportunities, to maximise forecast accuracy.
• Participate in weekly sales staff calls and update the Territory Sales Manager and the Product Sales Director on order bookings and sales revenue forecast achievement.
• Set pricing recommendations and discount structures and participate in Special Price Request (SPR) review calls with the Territory Sales Manager, Pricing Manager and Regional Sales Manager - Foam.
• Support existing distributors and systems integrators, driving demand creation and sales to achieve the required minimum expectation. Act as Account Manager, help resolving issues that may arise in supply chain and customer service. Collaboration with Inside Sales, Product Management, Customer Service, Technical Services, Quality Management and Logistics teams will also be required.

How you will do it:

• Identify potential new distributors and systems integrators in market segments where gaps have been identified.
• Support the distribution network in marketing activities to promote awareness of Foam products, whether in conjunction with the Product Sales Director, Business Development and Marketing teams or separately in targeted events.
• Develop a close and trusted relationship with JCI operations teams throughout South East Asia.
• Work in close cooperation with the Regional Sales Manager - Foam and the Indonesia Sales Manager, Special Hazards.
• Understand and interpret technical specifications and inquiry documents.
• Support competitor product and price profiling to determine price positioning of JCI Foam products.
• Participate in analysis of key market segments; understand market structure with key end-users, EPC contractors and specifiers.
• Ensure that accurate records of sales activities are maintained in Salesforce.com and achievement of key sales performance metrics.

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering and/or other related discipline
• At least 3-5 years sales experience in a channel sales / B2B market selling related products, with a proven track record in sales achievement
• Strong presentation skills
• Fluent English - spoken and written

• Willingness to travel throughout South-East Asia region
• Knowledge of oil, gas and aviation industries would be an advantage.

The Export Sales Manager reports to Country Sales Manager. He/She is responsible for the overseas sales and commercial partnership for the distributor accounts under his/her portfolio. He/She is tasked to optimize value for the product through the distributor markets by building strong sales relationship, driving visibility and distribution excellence, monitoring sales progress, marketing execution and overall account management. • Trade Marketing experience for consumer products is a must
• Product introduction experience is a major plus
