Manage a Private Banking FX Product and Advisory Platform and own the FX P/L as well as providing secondary support to Structured Products business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Advisory

• Package route to market executable ideas with inputs from 1) Research 2) Industry Intelligence and ground feedback, and 3) current books
• Drive Investment themes and product focus, giving color and depth to the investment books. Provide frontline with actionable focus to maneuver the markets, the support from Research
• Provide solutions for client’s FX requests
• Educate Client Advisors and team members on FX
• Be a recognized authority within the Bank in FX

Product Platform

• Set up access to full range of FX offerings
• Manage relationships with major counterparties and key market players
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and bank's product development and management policies
• Ensure end to end platform readiness and robustness for product sale
• Manage internal relationships with key enablement partners and stakeholders
• Ensure all products are reflected correctly in the Bank’s books
• Support development of MIS and post transaction reporting to ensure regulatory compliance and support investment and product performance monitoring
• Work with team members to ensure adequate coverage at all times
• Work with related parties to drive policy enhancements

Sales

• Provide Investment Consultants and RMs with trading ideas, market information and sales tools
• Provide input on FX for internal and external publications
• Develop marketing materials
• Making timely actionable calls in relation to market and books, to help frontline manage clients

Project and process owner

• To own, manage and drive all FX related projects and support Structured Products related projects
• Working with all relevant stakeholders across PB to co-ordinate, facilitate discussions, resolve issues, system capability, manage end-to-end process and life cycle of FX related products, as well as all client facing documents
• Focus on robustness, efficiency, control and compliance
• Manage all related systems and process requirements to drive efficiency
• Ensure end-to-end platform readiness and robustness for product sale

REQUIREMENTS:

• Detailed knowledge of FX analysis and markets
• Experience in FX sales, advisory and managing platforms
• End to end knowledge of product cycle
• Understanding of Financial Markets and key investment concepts
• Understanding of portfolio construction and Risk Management concepts
• Some project management experience, experience in owning and/ or driving Projects
• Some experience in systems and process engineering/ handling
• Some exposure or knowledge in Structured Products preferred
• Legal & Regulatory knowledge
• Strong in Mandarin to interract with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and clients

Summary

You will be responsible to oversee and lead the day-to-day delivery of operations in key areas, namely, program scheduling, network presentation, digital content management and promo production for entire Asia Pacific region. Being an integral member of the Channel Operations team, you will also help to shape the development of our entertainment content, reflect the brand values and maintain consistent audience flow through our channels by leading and strategizing the deployment of programming strategies across all channels and taking a proactive role in all liaisons with the play-out partners, sports federations and suppliers to ensure timely content delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Management in implementing programming priorities and strategies across all channels to ensure that content is properly managed to drive ratings and enhance channel positioning and branding across all beIN APAC broadcast footprint.
• Oversee all functions in the Channel Operations team to deliver their priorities in broadcast management and operations.
• Strategize with the team in maintenance, update, and allocation of on-air data and program inventories.
• Maintaining and upkeep of operational procedures to ensure robust operational workflow.
• Manage and curate content assets for beIN APAC digital service across beIN APAC broadcast footprint
• Develop deep knowledge by understanding, researching and analyzing programs and their ratings to optimize programming strategies and aid in performance monitoring of the channels.
• Identify and develop innovative and successful programming ideas and promotions, as well as to ensure that promotion plans are delivered by the team in accordance to the requirements and objectives of the channels.
• Take the lead ownership in producing detailed reports for promotion commissioning, maximization of rights utilization and channel viewership, as well as competitor analysis.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties such as content distributors and platform partners to ensure smooth delivery of broadcasting materials, gather feedback for improvements and revenue optimization, as well as to meet contractual obligations.
• Support communications and marketing of content with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage and coach the team to upkeep their development and performance at both individual and team levels.
• Keep abreast of competitive and industry trends to evaluate beIN’s competitive edge in assigned markets.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in broadcast programming role or other similar functions such as Media Planning, Traffic & Presentation, and Channel Operations.
• Strong experience in formulating of programming strategies.
• Good understanding of planning and scheduling of programs and promotions.
• Able to evaluate content for editorial merit and regional sensitivities in the assigned markets.
• Passionate about sports entertainment and media industry.
• Good leadership and interpersonal skills to manage and motivate a huge team.
