This advertisement is recruiting for two positions of Non-Teaching Administrative Assistant.

If successfully selected, you will be seconded to MOE primary school located in Ubi.

Contract Period: From 1 January 2025 – 31 December 2025

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

Teacher Aide (1)

• 32.5 hours per week based on a 5 -day work week (excluding a 30 minutes break per day)
• Mondays to Fridays: from 7.00 am to 1.30 pm.
• The above work schedule is inclusive of a 30-minute break and also applicable to school holidays.
• Contract Period: 01 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025 (12 months)

Teacher Aide (2)

• 40.50 hours per week based on a 5-days work week
• Mondays to Thursdays : from 7:30am to 4:30pm
• Fridays: 7:30am to 2:30pm
• The above work schedule is inclusive of a 45-minute break, and is also applicable to school holidays.
• Contract Period : 01 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025 (12 months)

Start and end dates are subject to confirmation by the School.

The service required are set out as follows :

Teacher Aides (1) to (2)

Recess Duty

• Daily supervision duty at Canteen during recess time (6 recesses a day) and lunch time (up to 2 lunches 3 times a week)

Teacher Relief Support

• Relief duty in looking after pupils in classes/CCAs that have no teachers in attendance during/after school as assigned by Year Heads.

After-School Dismissal Duty

• Daily supervision duty at the main gate during dismissal time.

Exam Matters and Teaching Materials

• Prepare teaching resources for teachers and department heads.
• Scan Optical Answer Sheets for P3 to P6 exams.
• Check, count and sort report books according to class register numbers after exams.

Other Duties

• Updates P1 to P6 class allocation at the end of the year.
• Print and check mass class allocation input.
• Assist in pre-event duties for Prelims and PSLE duties such as putting up labels and seating plans in all classrooms.
• Support in Prelims and PSLE duties as liaison officers on all days of examinations (Oral, Listening, Written)
• Assist in pre-event administrative duties for P1 Orientation.
• Collate and place food orders for all exam standardisation exercises during school examination periods (WA1, WA2, Prelims, SA2).
• Assist in packing goodies bags for events like National Day, Teachers’ Day, Children Day events and counting of pamphlets.
• Collate pupils’ and parents’ feedback from pupils’/parents’ surveys.
• Taking down and typing out minutes of Contact Time meetings.
• Data entry duties as assigned by Principal, Vice Principals, Head of Department and Year Heads.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Principal, Vice Principals, Head of Department and Year Heads.

The personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• GCE ‘O’ level or equivalent.
• Proficient in English Language and Chinese Language.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Preferably with similar experiences working with children aged 7-12.
• Must be a team player.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to multi-task and work independently.
• Medically fit.

Responsibilities:

• Attend to customer support requests on queries or problems on Application Software.

• Check, Debug, rectify and test system on program error to ensure resolution.

• Perform Data fixes, Technical Bug fixes and Configuration fixes

• Ensure smooth workflow processes and attainment of service level commitments.

• Communicate and work closely with the Software Product Team on reported problems or enhancements needed for the software.

• Understanding and mapping Client’s functional requirements against the Software available functions and guiding the users

• Identifying customization where needed and working with our own technical team to detail the scope of the customization works where required

• Ensuring quality assurances, user acceptance and implementation of completed customization

• Logging of tickets and all transaction on the Support ticketing tool

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines

• At least 2-3 years’ experience in Application Software Support environment with preferably from Solution provider environment

• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating System, SQL Server Database and programming skills in ASP.NET, VB.NET are required. Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services will be an added advantage

• Strong and proactive approach to problem-solving and inquisitive mind-set

• Ability to manage and meet customer expectation and delivery timelines

• Prior experience in developing and/or supporting enterprise business application such as Human Resource Management Systems or ERP is an added advantage.
