Attractive Hourly Rate:

• Primary Level: Up to $60/hr

Classes Available:

• P3 Science: Wed, 5.30-7pm (232 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3)
• P3 Science: Thurs, 5.30-7pm (678 Hougang Avenue 8)
• P5 Science: Thurs, 7-9pm (678 Hougang Avenue 8)
• P5 Science: Sat, 10am to 12pm (133 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3)

Relevant Teaching Experience will be required.

Job Description

• Delivering lessons in accordance with StarChamps's curriculum for students between pre-Primary to Secondary level, using various teaching methods to ensure a high quality of learning.
• Marking students' work and going the extra mile for weaker students.
• Classroom administration.
• Completing student progress reports for students each month.
• Establishing and maintaining good relationships with students and parents.
• Providing term updates to parents on students’ performance and progress.
• Create and maintain a safe and conducive learning environment for students, safeguarding their safety and health at all times.

Job Requirements:

• A Degree in any discipline
• Minimum 2-3 yrs of teaching experience
• Must have the passion to teach
• Has to be comfortable with use of technology in class
• Classes available on weekdays 4pm~ & weekends 10am~
• Can commit for at least one full academic year [new academic year starts in January 2025]

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in Secondary Mathematics and Science, ensuring students meet learning objectives.
• Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching resources tailored to the Singapore curriculum.
• Assess and provide feedback on students' work to track and support their progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to refine teaching strategies and contribute to curriculum development.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, or Education-related fields.
• At least 1-2 years of teaching experience preferred, but fresh graduates passionate about teaching are welcome to apply.
• Familiarity with the Singapore secondary school curriculum.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage students.
• Availability to work on weekends and within the stated working hours.
