Working closely with the Tax team in Sydney HQ, you will make your mark in a number of ways with your positive attitude, ability to work independently and to get things done in a dynamic environment. This is a greenfield opportunity to craft our approach to tax reporting regionally in a rapidly growing business.

Your Day to Day

In this role, your day to day responsibilities will include:

• Managing tax reporting obligations for the group across the Asia Pacific region including Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and India;
• Leading all aspects of all tax reporting across direct taxes, indirect taxes, employee taxes and transfer pricing;
• Driving continuous operational improvements;
• Seeking opportunities for automation;
• Establishing a framework for data analytics, policies & procedures and risk management
• Forecasting positions for the region including consideration of new laws such as thin capitalisation and Pillar 2;
• Reviewing the individual jurisdictions’ effective tax rate on an interim basis;
• Contributing to the team’s implementation of the group’s country by country reporting across the region;
• Continuing to maintain & enhance our global transfer pricing framework and models;
• Contributing to designing processes & controls for our global tax fixed asset register project, platform integration & implementation in the Asia Pacific region;
• Conducting operational reviews of our positions across the region; and
• Providing support on ad hoc tax advisory matters.

Requirements

• 7-10 years’ experience in a similar tax role;
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;Appropriate professional qualifications (CA or equivalent, Solicitor’s admission etc);
• Proven track record to work independently to complete strategic priorities; and
• A self-starter with a growth mindset.

Role Description:

The Implementation Manager, working with the CSRM will play a crucial role in executing through strategic partnerships across a specified geography. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of program implementation, ensuring high-quality delivery, and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) including but not limited to learner engagement, course completions, and credentials issued.
Key responsibilities:

• Program Implementation & Management: Oversee the rollout of the training program through partner organizations to drive pre-determined learner outcomes.
• Partner Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between our organization and partner entities. Facilitate communication, resolve issues, and ensure partners have the necessary resources and support to effectively deliver the program.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze program performance against KPIs, including learner engagement rates, course completion rates, and the issuance of credentials. Implement strategies to address any gaps or areas for improvement.
• Internal Management Processes: Managing and coordinating across CSR sub-teams to ensure internal stakeholders are aligned/consulted/informed, budgets are allocated, project-based learning marketing and communications processes are managed.
• Quality Assurance: Work closely with the content and credentialing teams to ensure that all program offerings meet our high standards for content quality and credentialing criteria.
• Feedback Loop: Collect and synthesize feedback from partners and participants to inform continuous improvement of the program.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on program status, challenges, and achievements to senior management and relevant stakeholders to ensure targets are being achieved.

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or any equivalent
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in program management / consulting and/or digital learning transformation roles
• Experience with digital (online) learning platforms and digital credentials.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strategic thinking & project management expertise
• Excellent work ethic with a competitive nature and a desire to succeed.
• Intense curiosity to learn and willingness to be coached.
• Experience in CSR or with an NPO/NGO, especially with a focus on workforce development.
• Can easily adapt to different environments and cultures. Customer / partner relationship skills.
• Drive, self-motivation and robust organisational skills are important as the role involves working from home (or the office when needed) as part of a large virtual team.

Job Summary

The Supervisor/ AM plays an active role in providing excellent service and creating amazing dining experiences for all our dining guests, and manages a section of staff in the Front of House to ensure the smooth running of daily operations in line with the Company’s direction.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Operations

● Assisting the Restaurant Manager with inventory management, proper planning, and utilization of available resources.

● Work with RM to improve the FOH Standard OperatingProcedures (SOP).

● Work with RM to execute on profitability measures through meeting revenue targets and managing costs.

● Jointly responsible for achieving sales targets, quality expectations, and service performance.

● Documentation of daily sales and menu item sales.

● Work closely with the kitchen team on food feedback and improvement.

● Ensure all areas, including the entrance and back areas, are clean, neat, tidy, and smell-free before operations.

● To ensure all equipment is kept in working condition and report any deficiencies.

2. Service

● Be able to describe the food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide insights and recommendations of beverages within our program

● Take the lead in taking food and beverage orders from guests

● Actively supervise the team to ensure the needs and expectations of all our guests are met and, hopefully, exceeded

● Play an active role in creating exceptional guest experiences throughout the restaurant

3. Human Resources

● Work closely with the RM to execute training initiatives,

● Assist RM to evaluate, lead, and motivate, new/existing staff.

● Play an active role in promoting a cooperative, and happy working environment

● Actively plan work schedules to ensure sufficient, yet cost-efficient, manning for all shifts

4. Health and Safety

● Work with RM to organise initiatives to ensure dining space is clean and tidy, exceeding expectations set under the Government and Company’s food safety and hygiene standards. To ensure these initiatives are executed.

● Monitor and ensure proper handling of equipment, and track breakages.

5. Others

● Any other tasks assigned to you by Assistant Manager/ Outlet Manager.

Requirements

- With some relevant F&B service experience. Training will be provided.

- Candidates with at least 2 years of strong experience in managerial roles may apply for Supervisor/AM position.

· Ensure reports are accurately generated.

· Liaise with relevant agencies on funding for programmes.

Requirements

· Minimum Diploma in related discipline or its equivalent

· Min.1 year relevant experience in social services agencies

· Passion for working with seniors in the senior care centre and community setting

· Good communications skills, a team player, able to work independently.

· Tech savvy and proficient in MSOffice

· Ability to communicate in local dialects will be advantageous

· Require to attend/organise events during weekends, if any
