An instrumental role in articulating the functional needs and translating into IT solutions that will support the overall University goals, the incumbent will work closely with the various departments within the University to analyze and define user requirements, recommend and evaluate appropriate end-to-end IT solutions; manage projects and change implementation; as well as maintaining and supporting of the systems implemented.

Responsibilities:

• Work with stakeholders to establish consensus on objectives, requirements and deliverables

• Take lead to coordinate IT project delivery and working with external vendors or partners to establish
  the desired and stipulated project priority and timeline to meet the business operations

• Manage IT Business relationships with various Schools, Departments and Research Centres

• Identify IT business use cases to support revenue success

• Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of IT processes

• Manage & lead the project team

• Familiar with tendering process, drawing out tender paper, evaluating vendors, etc.

• Vendor management ensuring SLA, IT policies, standards and SOP are complied with

• Planning & monitoring of project schedule, budget and activities to ensure delivery in accordance to objectives, within timeline and budget.

• Tracking and reporting of project progress, issues and risks to ensure deliverables are on track

• Understanding business processes, identify business requirements and translate into functional specifications
   

Requirements:

• A recognised degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline

• Minimum 12 years of Information Technology experience in supporting and implementing IT systems

• Keen appreciation of business needs and strong interest in business processes and process re-engineering

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details

• More than 10 years proven Industry experience in IT Project Management

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills

• Good written & verbal communication and presentation skills

• Good leadership in managing project teams.

As the Business Development Lead for Enterprise Learning Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in our business development efforts, expanding our continuing education Programmes to the enterprise market in Singapore and beyond. You will lead our successful team to further increase market share, create new revenue streams, and seize opportunities through a comprehensive sales strategy, partnerships with university schools, and collaborations with industry and trade partners.

Responsibilities:

1. Leadership for Business Development:

• Execute Enterprise business development strategy aligned with our institution's mission.

• Continuously assess market dynamics and identify opportunities for aggressive growth, market share acquisition, and new revenue streams through collaborations.

2. Revenue Generation, Growth, and Market Share:

• Drive substantial revenue growth, targeting specific market share goals through the acquisition of new clients, expansion of existing partnerships, and exploration of innovative revenue opportunities.

• Forge strong relationships with corporate clients to secure recurring business and establish market dominance.

3. Collaboration with Industry and Trade Partners:

• Proactively engage industry and trade partners to create mutually beneficial collaborations, revenue-sharing agreements, and innovative training opportunities.

• Leverage external partnerships to develop new revenue streams and expand our presence in corporate training.

4. Team Leadership and Development:

• Recruit and mentor sales professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and market share growth.

• Set clear performance objectives and provide professional development opportunities to drive team success.

5. Programme Development and Customization:

• Oversee the development and customization of training Programmes, ensuring they capture market share, diversify revenue streams, and meet the unique needs of corporate clients.

• Ensure training Programmes remain ahead of industry trends and aligned with best practices.

6. Engagement with Clients and Industry Partners:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and partners, maintaining robust relationships while gaining insights into their training needs and collaborative opportunities.

• Collaborate closely to deliver tailored training solutions that secure market leadership and generate new revenue streams.

7. Quality Assurance:

• Establish and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure consistent, high-quality training Programme delivery.

• Continuously evaluate training effectiveness and drive improvements.

8. Financial Oversight:

• Manage the budget for the enterprise training division, optimizing profitability while supporting revenue diversification.

9. Market Research and Analysis:

• Stay updated on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies in corporate training.

• Conduct market research to pinpoint and capitalize on market share expansion and new revenue opportunities.

10. Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure all training Programmes meet service-level agreements and contractual obligations, reinforcing our market leadership.

• Provide transparent and insightful reports to senior leadership on market share expansion, revenue diversification, and industry collaboration.

Requirements:

• Tertiary education with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience and industry connections.

• Proven track record in enterprise training or corporate learning, driving revenue growth, market leadership, and revenue diversification through collaborations.
