Job Overview:

ASMPT is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager for Total Rewards to join our Global Rewards team. It is a high-profile role that partners closely with the Senior Manager and Global Total Rewards Leader and regularly interfaces and engages with Chief People Officer and HR leadership team. The role is key in contributing to and supporting the development of a robust Total Rewards strategy that aligns with our business objectives. The successful incumbent is expected to:

Lead or co-lead in the design, development and roll out of company-wide rewards programs.

Collaborates with other HR functions on global and standard rewards processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (especially Finance) to ensure successful project execution.

Actively support the HR community worldwide on rewards programs, processes and requests including support in addressing local rewards programs issues to align it to global rewards principles.

Constantly challenge the status quo and recommend more effective and efficient ways of work.

Exchange with external networking groups and rewards consultants to keep abreast of latest compensation practices and trends.

Key Responsibilities:

Broad-based Compensation & Benefits (50%)

• Annual Compensation Review Cycle

Co-lead the annual compensation review cycle planning (annual merit, bonus and share grant), ensure alignment with budgetary constraints, establish cycle timeline, setup Global People System (GPS) processes, develop communication and training materials for employees and managers etc.

Manage the end-to-end execution of the annual compensation review cycle, in close collaboration with Talent Management, Country HR, HRBP and HRIS teams, ensuring timely and smooth implementation with GPS.

Deliver communication on compensation programs and training on the usage of GPS for the cycle.

Ensure guidelines are understood, processes are followed, and proper governance is observed in the execution

Carry out post-mortem to identify hiccups, issues, troubleshoot and work on improvements for subsequent cycle.

• Benchmarking & Salary Structures

Assess and procure relevant external remuneration surveys for benchmarking.

Manage all survey participations and timely survey submissions.

Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis for all, if not key locations, to ensure competitive pay positioning.

• Development and review of policies and programs

Lead or co-lead development of new compensation and benefit programs or review existing programs issues from time to time.

Support harmonization of benefits globally.

Analyze the financial impact of compensation and benefits changes, providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making.

Stock Administration (30%)

Manage the processes with Legal, HR, Trustee and Broker to deliver the ongoing share awards, dividend payments, share vesting.

Liaise with Country HR and Broker for new hire account opening, authorize share vesting, managing physical share scripts and restricted share accounts.

Prepare supporting documents for share awards to Legal as part of Board resolution for approval.

Lead the evaluation and migration of corporate stock brokerage, if need arises.

Budgeting, Reporting and Analytics (15%)

Collaborate with Senior Manager to develop guidelines for merit, bonus and shares to Country HR / Finance for annual manpower cost budgeting

Partner with Country HR to develop a comprehensive labor cost model.

Prepare periodic rewards analytics and dashboards

• Prepare periodic company-wide total target compensation report with baseline to serve ‘all purpose’.
• Provide insights on internal and external pay equity, productivity analysis.

Prepare periodic bonus payout forecast computation for finance to update accruals.

Ad-hoc (5%)

Process improvement, streamlining and automation of rewards programs and processes

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (Human Resources, Finance etc)
• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in management of Total Rewards programs
• Stock administration experience is critical
• Strong technical knowledge in compensation and benefits principles and practices regionally or globally
• Strong HRIS experience, especially in Workday

Job Summary:

Vessel Resource Manager's Responsibility shall include the following but not limited to:

• Ensure timely availability of 3rd party chartered and owned vessels post mobilization ensuring efficiency and good planning of mobilizations and demobilizations.
• Provide day-to-day support to Project Manager(s), offshore Technical Coordinator(s), on equipment related queries and troubleshooting, liaising with equipment resource team on technical topics as necessary.
• Monitor and analyses the operational utilization of the company owned and 3rd party vessels ensuring optimized planning for maintenance days, and efficient management of any hired resources, with resulting guidance towards company procurement strategies in conjunction with Business Analysts.
• Support and guide the business on all matters relating to 3rd party offshore vessel selection based on fuel consumption, vessel reliability, DP performance, availability and costing through the project life cycle.
• Guide and support Commercial teams at project bidding stages, assisting project and operational teams with day-to-day operational performance and challenges, through to Lessons Learned (review and application) on project completion.
• Support Operations Manager(s) and Service Line Manager(s) in long-term resourcing strategies, and annual review / adjustment of hardware White Book Rates.
• Manage / perform annual maintenance OPEX budget planning for project equipment permanently installed on owned vessels.
• Manage the operations of company internally owned and 3rd Party survey and light-geotechnical vessel operations, including mobilizations while keeping safety of operations as top priority.
• Ensure timely vessel availability keeping mob / demob / maintenance time optimised and well planned.
• Ensure efficient selection of 3rd party vessels for projects with detailed scrutiny of vessel systems to ascertain the reliability (i.e., maintenance & reliability of vessel systems and minimising equipment down time)
• Ensure uptime for project equipment on owned vessels by ensuring proper planning and management of project equipment maintenance whilst they are onboard.
• Ensure that expenditure on mob/demobs is optimized by proper planning and budgeting.
• Ensure that day to day operations are planned systematically taking into consideration any SIMOPS and work collectively towards achieving a zero harm environment.

About You

Vessel Resource Manager (VRM) will be a qualified and experienced Marine Engineer / Naval Architect with operational and maintenance knowledge of electrical, and mechanical (hydraulics) systems. Ideally the VRM should have sailed as a minimum 2nd Engineer (unlimited) and / or possess a minimum 8 years of shore experience managing various types of Offshore Vessels (DP1/2/3) including preparation of technical budgets and understands BIMCO charter party contracts. It is desirable if he has a high-level knowledge of geophysical survey and / or seabed light-geotechnical site investigation, and technical equipment used to conduct such operations.

Technology Project Manager will be responsible for one or more of following functions assigned to him as required.

Shipyard repairs & dry-docking support

• Maintain updated list of OSM Thome standard docking jobs for all classes of vessels, concurrent with class and flag requirements.
• Assist Vessel Managers to finalise ship specific docking specifications.
• Monitor docking planning of vessels in the fleet and liaise with respective Vessel Manager to ensure docking and associated repairs are carried out within the relevant window.
• Liaise with shipyards to ensure availability of repair slots.
• Assist the Vessel Manager with yard bids comparison and yard selection.
• Assist Vessel Manager or attend vessels during the dry-dock repair period, as required.
• Provide quarterly analysis report on yard performance based on set KPI’s.

Planned maintenance systems

• Monitor functionality of the Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) for fleet vessels and provide solutions for the resolution of any issues and correction and improvement of database.
• Liaise with Vessel Managers and ship staff to ensure that the PMS program on each vessel is optimally utilized.
• Assist with the implementation of the PMS for new tonnage inducted into the Fleet.
• Ensure that the PMS are updated with new jobs as per the latest requirements from Classification Societies, Flag State Administrations, industry requirements, and sharing of best practices and experiences on the fleet.
• Provide PMS familiarisation and training to ship staff visiting the Office.
• Provide monthly/quarterly/yearly reports and statistics on the status of the PMS across the fleet to management.

Vessel performance monitoring systems

• Monitor functioning of the performance monitoring systems for fleet vessels. Facilitate regular and easy monitoring of speed and consumption performance of fleet vessels.
• Liaise with Vessel Managers and ship staff to ensure that the performance monitoring system on each vessel is optimally utilized and to resolve any concerns.
• Facilitate comparative study of performance across the fleet, using performance monitoring system.
• Enhancement of system to enable reporting and managing of newer performance aspects as new requirements are identified, and new regulations come into force.
• Identify scope to optimize energy management in the fleet, and recommend solutions.
• Assist with the implementation of the performance monitoring system and SEEMP for new tonnage inducted into the fleet.
• Assist the Vessel Manager for the monitoring of the EEOI on each ship.

Technical procedures & knowledge sharing

• Sharing learning on technical issues, as gained from operational experience within the fleet and knowledge from industry best practices & new regulatory requirements; with vessels and Technical Departments.
• Review & revise technical procedures for simplification and updating with latest experience and knowledge.
• Formulate technical alerts & circulars and contribute to periodic presentation sessions, for knowledge sharing.
• Audits of technical departments to ensure compliance to standards (provisions under HSSEQ, TMSA & Rightship).
• Identify deficiencies & scopes for improvement in compliance, and recommend measures for improvement.

Technical support

• To extend support to technical departments in following areas, based on requirements:

o Troubleshooting

o General advice on technical issues relating to engineering and regulatory issues

Education and qualification

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering with 10 years of experience in marine industry.

Experience

• Marine Engineering background with experience in one or more of following areas:
• Sailing experience as a Senior Engineer on merchant vessels
• Experience as Vessel Manager or Technical Superintendent
• Shipyard experience as Repair/Project Manager
• Experience as Classification Society Surveyor

• Have strong integration working experience and knowledge of the key integration points between the other SAP modules.
• A minimum of 10+ years of applicable experience in SAP QM and PP, authorization in a manufacturing setting (Preferably in the Chemical industry) and proficiency in SAP ECC 6.0 and/or S/4 HANA is required.
• Having SAP certification in the QM/PP module is highly recommended, alongside a solid understanding of SAP report development (ABAP) and form development.
• Must have at least two full life-cycle SAP R/3 ECC 6.0 and / or SAP S/4 HANA implementation experience (Project Preparation till Go-Live) or greenfield implementation
