What a Compliance Manager does at Visa:

Based in Singapore, this position will support the Currencycloud APAC Head of Compliance and Regulatory who is also the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) of Visa’s regulated entity as a Major Payments Institution (MPI) in Singapore, covering AML/CFT and Sanctions compliance matters. The core responsibilities for this role are as follows:

·       Support Singapore MLRO in the development and maintenance of robust AML/CFT and Sanctions frameworks which are in line with the Singapore’s Payment Services Act (PSA) and the relevant subsidiary legislations issued by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as well as Visa’s Global Compliance and other International AML/CFT and Sanctions standards. The Customer Service Team Lead (or Manager) is responsible for overseeing the order management process and ensuring exemplary customer service delivery. This role entails managing a team of order management representatives, coordinating with various departments to streamline order processing, manage periodic reporting requirement and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Hands-on support and ownership of full order-to-cash function for customers across Bangladesh, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, China, Pakistan for a start, but not limited to.

Lead and manage the order management team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality customer service. Hands-on approach is necessary.

Develop and implement order management policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy, especially in areas of managing letters of credit.

Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated customer inquiries and issues related to order processing/fulfilment.

Collaborate with sales people, inventory team, production plants, external logistics partners, system support to ensure timely fulfilment of customer orders.

Review and refresh key performance indicators (KPIs) on internal team and external partners.

Consider learning and development opportunities for team members, together with recommending changes for continuous improvement.

Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements in order processing.

Job Requirement:

Degree/Professional certificate in a related field preferred.

5+ years of experience in customer service or order management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Strong understanding of order management systems (SAP R3 (ECC) or S4 Hana) and processes

Good working knowledge in the negotiation of Letters of Credit for countries, as well as other payment terms such as D/P, D/A, etc.

Job Description

This is an operational position within the Asia Centre for Health Security (ACHS). The incumbent will be part of the team to support the core functions of the centre. Their duties would include administration, education and training, collaboration and partnership, and secretariat functions.

Duties & Responsibilities
Working under the direction of the Director and Head of Operations at the ACHS, the Assistant Manager will be part of the team to support the core duties of the centre:
a) Centre Administration
- Point of contact between researchers and various administration departments to support the management of research projects
- Support researchers to draft, review, negotiate and execute research agreements by working closely with researchers, collaborators and internal and external legal offices
- Liaise and support the centre's leads and research staff to meet the centre's objectives of the centre
- Support finance administration, payment and procurement and secretariat duties; tracking and reporting; and communications

b) Education and Training inclusive of the Tabletop Simulation Exercises for Health Security Preparedness and Response; and the convening of meetings and roundtables
- Support Centre Leads in organising training activties, including the tabletop simulation exercise and convening of meetings and roundtables. The responsibilities include event management, registration, on the ground support, liaising with international participants and logistics arrangements including organising venue, travel and room bookings
- Administrative support for the establishment of the ACHS fellowship program in health security
- On the ground support for public seminars, workshops, courses and training held in person and online

c) Collaboration & Partnership
- Liaise and work closely with local, regional and international partners and collaborators, this includes providing support for policy roundtables and panel discussions and the building a network of experienced experts in health security

d) Provide secretariat support for the centre (Faculty Meetings, International Advisory Panel), this includes arranging of meetings, preparation of slides, notes of meeting, communication and dissemination of information, and collation of reports

e) Work closely with other offices in the school, e.g. finance, HR, IT and GHO and university, e.g. OLA, ODPRT, CPO to take forward all administrative tasks, including discussion, collaboration and problem-solving on complem situations

f) Other duties assigned by the Director or Head, Operations

Qualifications

• Applicants are expected to have at least a Bachelor degree from a recognised institution with at least five years of experience in an administrative position within the academic, research or healthcare sector
• Strong administrative skills and experience in supporting projects such as convening meetings, organise training and workshops, service contracts, financial administration, or equivalent experience
• Experience organising events, in-person and online is a requirement
• Excellent written and oral communciation skills, with the ability to summarise content, prepare slides, reports and content
• A good team player who is self-motivated, well organised and with the ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
• Effective at problem-solving, able to take initiative to learn on the job and manage various responsibilities.
• IT systems savy and proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Knowledge of NUS processes and systems is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, and ability to interact effectively with all levels of associates, including senior leadership
