Primary Objective(s) of Position

• Responsible for managing customer service operations, handling requests for quotation (RFQ), procurement of all SEA freight related services, and overseeing regional SOC container management in alignment with specified requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

Customer Services, RFQ, Tender, Trade, Sales Support

• Attend to all customers enquiries, disputes cases via email or phone calls
• Preparation, maintenance and review of proposals, procedures, tenders, and service agreements with customers
• Procuring freight with shipping lines, freight forwarders & all other vendors
• Source and negotiate for competitive price-structure
• MRG approval on S.E.A shipments routing to all SOC Network agencies
• Analysis of trade-lane & pricing

Inventory Management

• Track, update and analyze equipment turnaround time/idle time/repair time and implement/enforce measures for improvement
• Prepare container inventory report on daily basis
• Liaising with various parties on purchasing, disposing, leasing of containers
• Assessing container repair charges, collection, detention & demurrage
• Oversee Container seal and DG sticker management

Sea Shipment Coordination & Documentation Support

• Liaising with Customers, Vendors & Overseas partners
• Preparation of full set shipping documentation for all SEA freight shipments (eg. FCL, LCL, Breakbulk, RORO & Chartering) & local handling services services.
• Execution of documents via SAP system,
• Ensure accurate & timely execution of documentation, custom manifest and invoicing to related parties within KPI
• Maintain proper and efficient e-filing system of all documents for easy and systematic retrieval

Full set payment requisition

• Ensure accurate & timely execution of invoicing to related parties within KPI,
• Keeping track of all payment’s invoices, reconciling processed work by verifying entries and arrange for payment requisition accurately & timely within credit period.

Transportation arrangement

• Monitoring delivery & collection to meet the schedule for all services provided

Miscellaneous

• Keep track of all quotation/tariff as well for payment’s invoices, reconciling processed work by verifying entries accurately & timely
• Coordination with all vendor & warehouse operations for loading/unloading related arrangement (if any)
• Any ad hoc tasks as assigned from management

Person Specifications

• Possess at least a Diploma in logistics/supply chain management
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Customer service orientated
• Knowledge & experience in container maintenance & repair
• Familiarity in SAP Transport module
• Experience in dealing with NVOCC Sea Freight Process Flow, Breabulk, RORO & Chartering services.
• Good verbal and written communication skill will be advantage

• Handle daily operations of physical trading books' activity
• Provide reports to the team leads and regional head of operations
• Optimize trader strategies through knowledge of product movement and relationships with external parties
• Review product movement reconciliations, facilitate loss control investigation
• Assess technical, contractual and operational risk

Job Description

- Work closely with Operations Manager to assist various departments to ensure that Learning Point Centres are able to operate smoothly

• Responsible for teacher relief management (deploy relief teachers when the main teacher is unavailable, track teacher relief inquiries, consistently update list of available full-time teachers for cover classes, consistently update relief pool list for cover classes etc)
• Arrange onboarding procedures for new teachers (briefings, handover sessions, arrangement of lesson observations, co-teachings etc)
• Arrange offboarding procedures for exiting teachers (teacher transitions, handover reports etc)
• Support the Manager in annual class planning, timetable planning and classroom optimisation (teacher-class allocation, optimise classroom utilisation, no clash in back-to-back arrangements etc)
• Support the Manager in planning and managing various calendars (term and lesson calendar, calendar of events, etc)
• Support the Manager in coordinating and executing the planning of ad-hoc programmes (open house, booster classes, replacement classes, holiday programmes, seminars etc)
• Assist with curriculum management (monitor timeline for curriculum submission, uploading and printing of worksheets, curriculum access rights for teachers, supplementary materials/projects)
• Support the Resource team in managing a group of interns, including assignment of duties, managing their work hours, etc.

• Work closely with HR team and internal stakeholders to support HR operations including benefits administration, work pass / visa application and renewal, HR report preparation and policies
• Provide administrative support for the employees’ life cycle activities from on-boarding to exit
• Maintain and upkeep of employees’ P-file database
• Be the point of contract to employees and external vendors for benefits and HR operations matters

Skills and experience required

• Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot compressors received at the workshop, as preliminary stage before execution of the service.
• Service, overhaul and test all compressor technologies in the company's portfolio, from reciprocating to screw compressors.
• Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with co-workers and when necessary, with customers.
• Recommend preventive measures and provide prompt and effective resolution to technical problems
• Duly maintain proper record for each service job, such filling service, inspection and test reports
• Follow up work orders for each job, maintaining checklist and daily time sheets.
• Work effectively in coordination with other departments in order to ensure a smooth and timely supply of required parts to complete service activities.
• Guarantee proper maintenance of workshop tools and equipment
• Conduct safety assessments of the working environment and to proactively propose improvement to enhance the efficiency of the operations
• Provide technical training for customers and technicians in the team.
• commissioning or commissioning assistance services, inclusive of verification of electrical panel, refrigerant charge adjustment, data recording and analysis
• Troubleshoot and identify potential failures of system and analyze compressor failure through operation data.
• Lift and shift to support customer in removal and reinstallation of compressors on the refrigeration systems

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years HVAC field service experience
• Knowledge in air-conditioning, chiller or HVAC systems
• Electrical and basic electronic background is required, must be independently able to troubleshoot and identify electrical control and power line failures.
• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Good in planning, organizing, interpersonal skills and able to work independently.
• IT Savvy, proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
• Must have experience working inside vessel
