Summary

The Regional Director Security Operations (RDSO) is responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team that executes a global security operations program for a multi-national IT organization. Services provided include security operations, safety, budget and financial execution, logistics, and employee recruitment, onboarding and training. The security operations program is comprised of regional security man-guarding functions, a security operations center, development and management of security operations metrics, branch liaison, personnel management and driving key security operations projects and initiatives for datacenters on a multi $100M global Client account. Direct reports may include field based Regional Security Managers, as well as shared services/program management resources to include Regional Operations Coordinator, Security Design PMOs and other Security Operations personnel. The RDSO is accountable for datacenter security operations service delivery, enhancing safety culture, driving innovation and process change across the program and staff engagement and development. The RDSO is expected to advance operational security and business relevancy while collaborating with the client, fellow RDSOs, Securitas business divisions, associate contractors, global business partners, and other supporting teams. This position reports directly to the Global Director of Operations.

Essential Functions

1. Strategically aligns a multi-disciplinary team into a singular, cohesive group; prioritized to meet the client’s data center security operations requirements.
2. Anticipates, develops, drives, and operationalizes the business’ most strategic priorities to meet service requirements, exceed quality targets and optimize field security operations effectiveness.
3. Acts as a trusted advisor to the Global Director of Operations and Client directors while also facilitating a healthy rhythm of team and business operations forums.
4. Proactively manages the region’s multi-disciplinary team to effectively execute and communicate (inward and outward) the security operations scope, strategic goals and deliverables.
5. Create strong internal and external networks, ensuring alignment between the regional operations teams, the shared services platform, and the Client.
6. Nurture Client relationships and internal relationships across all pillars.
7. Ensures the multi-disciplinary regional team is functioning effectively and efficiently, with security operation non- negotiables, process enhancement and scalability at the forefront of decision-making.

· Working together with the respective General Managers and HR business partners ensure appropriate line management support is in place for annual leave, illness concerns, performance management and professional development as well as providing recommendations for headcount based on these parameters.

· Key decision maker for nursing recruitment initiatives to ensure the right staff are hired for the right roles. Able to support other areas of business as required.

STAFF SUPPORT AND DEVELOPMENT

· Key accountability for ensuring that respective teams are given sufficient support to enable them to actively focus on their personal and professional development. This will include regular motivational and developmental feedback with the provision of objectives to maximize staff performance

· Ensure that any incidences of staff under-performance are identified and acted upon expediently. This will include escalation to the MD and RMD, feedback to the staff member, implementation of performance improvement plan (PIP) if needed and appropriate training and support.

· Maintain appropriate documentation of any actions taken regarding specific individual performance and address any disciplinary or grievance matters in accordance with International SOS's policies and procedures.

· Ensuring staff attendance at medical team meetings and daily transmissions/handovers and to search for new ideas for training and staff motivation.

· Encourage staff participation in additional projects within the Assistance/Support Centres.

· Overall accountability for the Mentoring programme for new starters and the on boarding process for new team members.

· Ensure staff are familiar with all relevant International SOS policies and procedures and that policies and procedures are followed at all times.

CASE MANAGEMENT AND ESCALATION

· Work with the MD's and RMD to drive efficiency and the provision of professional, customer focussed medical assistance to beneficiaries as per contractual requirements.

· Ensure that case management escalation occurs as per International SOS protocols, and that their teams are delivering effective case management to members.

Job Scope

Under the general guidance of the Director of Finance, you oversee and direct all aspects of the finance function, including the accounting operation, financial reporting, managing relationships with lenders and compliance with tax and other governmental authorities.

Essential Responsibilities

• Supervises the accounting department of the Hotel

This individual will be responsible for understanding and applying current accounting principles to the accounting and financial reporting of funds and for reviewing transaction and valuation information.  A partial list of responsibilities and skills includes:
• Preparation and Review of Net Asset Value calculation and reportings
• Coordinate investor servicing activities. Including investor on-boarding, capital calls, distributions, and other investor reportings.
• Maintain a working understanding of fund documentation(s) and apply the terms to the financial reporting and the income and expense allocations
• Maintain a working knowledge of current accounting principles and developing solutions for issues
• Preparation and review of financial statements and footnotes for audit purpose
• Liase with banks, auditors, brokers and custodians to ensure smooth service delivery to clients and timely completion of deliverables
• Involved in new funds on-boarding process
• Primary contact to client on daily operational, issue discussion and any other request
• Resolve issues/queries raised clients in a timely manner and maintain a high level of client satisfaction
• Identify and highlight opportunities for internal process improvement and increase in operational efficiency
• Assist team manager to manage the day to day operations
• Participate in company and client initiatives outside of normal deliverables and responsibilities
• Perform other duties as assigned and incidental to the work described above

·       Prepare/ review Management Accounts, customized reporting packages, Statutory Accounts

·       Prepare/ review monthly payroll and other expense disbursements, as well as year-end remuneration returns and tax clearance

·       Prepare/ review GST returns, corporate tax return, withholding tax and COR

·       Prepare/ review administrative/ payment processing

·       Liaise with auditors and regulators, answering queries of behalf of clients

·       Responsible for billings, fee negotiations and recovery for each client engagement

·       To set and manage the deadlines of the portfolios of clients in accordance with the agreed calendar defined for each client

·       Provide excellent client service and ensure deliverables timelines are met.

·       Monitor and control the workload of the team

·       Communicate effectively with the team to ensure they are aware of deadlines and expectations in terms of timing

·       Identify training needs and opportunities within the team.

·       Ensure that Ocorian policy and procedure are adhered to

·       Review current process flow for improvements and assist in the implementation of recommendations

·       Identify problems and issues and apply problem solving skills to provide solutions

·       Participate in new client prospects meetings, when required, and the subsequent onboarding process.

·       And any other such duties that might be reasonably required for this role

• Developing, maintaining, and evolving the inbound operational strategy in collaboration with GFL&T leadership and other key stakeholders
• Managing the daily operations of the global inbound logistics network to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) are delivered
• Proactively managing operational risk and resolving any issues or challenges that arise within the inbound network to ensure continuity of service
• Enhancing internal stakeholder engagement enabling an understanding of the global inbound network and collaborative opportunities to improve both cost and service
• Managing the recruitment, retention, and performance management strategies for a diverse and global workforce

Essential Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field (MBA or post graduate degree preferred)
• 10 years+ Inbound Logistics Operations experience working within a large, global, shipper
• Cross mode experience covering International Airfreight, Ocean Freight and ground transportation
• 7 years+ people management experience managing remote and global teams with a proven track record of individual and organizational development
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills at all levels with competence in making timely, effective, principles-based decisions
