Position Summary

UNGCNS is seeking an energetic and experienced candidate to engage partners and stakeholders in the subject of carbon accounting and management. • Manage and administer the LowCarbonSG Programme, including participant tracking and reporting, the Carbon Emissions Recording Tool (CERT) completion progress, carbon workshop participation, LowCarbonSG logo recipients, etc.
• Maintain and develop new key business partner relationships in the area of carbon accounting in order to grow and scale UN GCNS’ contribution in the carbon space.

Purpose and Scope

Conceptualize and develop ideas, assess needs of the building(s) of a project according to the business requirements and present it for management ‘s review.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare design feasibility studies to support business plans;
• Draft scopes of work for procuring and manage design consultants and vendors who are working on the project(s);
• Support Project Manager in tender documentation preparation and evaluations throughout the entire project tender process;
• Review design proposals of consultants and propose cost effective & functional design suggestions to consultants;
• Assist Project Manager to resolve design problems and issues that arise during construction;
• Carry out any other ad-hoc design management-related tasks when needed;

Qualification, Skills, and Experience

• Degree in Architecture with 8-10 years’ relevant experience in industrial, mixed-use development projects will be considered favorably;
• Previous experience in overseas building projects in Vietnam and/or Indonesia is an added advantage;
• Practical experience in design and complete execution of building projects, project planning, development management, feasibility studies and cost control;
• Familiarity with the current international design trends and requirements; detailing appropriate to location, climate & needs; building control statutory norms in Vietnam or Indonesia; LEED & other relevant sustainable design standards; and project implementation process is essential;
• Excellent IT skills, including computer-aided design skills, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, BIM software, Photoshop, MS Project;
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
• Written and spoken fluency in English; other languages such as Vietnamese or Bahasa Indonesia are added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership, governance, organization and management of the project team
• Responsible for project team resource planning, recruitment, training & development and retention
• Plan and recruit Project Engineers / Designers / Drafters as per the demand
• Develop, coach, guide and train the Project Engineers / Designer / Drafters
• Manage Half-yearly & yearly appraisal process for the project team for their professional & career development
• Responsible for execution all assigned projects with respect to Safety, Quality, Design, Procurement, Construction, Contractual, Budget, Schedule and Resources
• Ensure competent / qualified Project Engineer / Designer / Drafter assignment to the project
• Ensure project execution compliance in accordance to PQP
• Manage all project stakeholders (Owners, Clients, Consultants, Subcontractors, Third Parties & Internal Team) for smooth project execution
• Approve Purchase Requisitions / Invoices on-time for issuing PO & payment to suppliers
• Project Cost control (including site expenditure) to ensure profit margin for the projects
• Ensure additional works are carried out with Variation Order Request approval from customer
• Manage cash flow of the assigned projects by ensuring regular progress claims submission & approval relating to the work progress at site
• Achieve all assigned projects’ objectives (Project On time delivery, Project Cost less than the allocated budget etc.)
• Escalate challenges to MD appropriately to resolve it on time
• Conduct regular meetings with the Project Team on Project status update
• Other adhoc duties as assigned.

Requirement

• Degree / Master in Electrical Engineering
• Proficiency in various software such as MS Office, MS Projects/Primavera
• Min 5 years of working experiences in related field
• Possess effective organizational and follow-up skills, meticulous
• Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner
• Experience in LTA projects will be an advantage.

The incumbent plays a pivotal role in supporting the Strategic Relations (SR) leaders in driving corporate and university engagement in our effort expanding local and regional outreach initiatives. • Responsible for conducting IT software testing

• Key stakeholders include: End users, system development teams, and back-office departments from the head office Test support teams from other IT vendors and Offshore vendors

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting IT project test phases within the banking sector.
• Experience in IT software testing, with prior experience as an IT professional in a banking or financial institution will be advantageous.
• Lead the creation of test plans and test definitions for banking IT systems, demonstrating knowledge in software quality management including software testing methodologies, including the creation of test plans, test documentation, execution of test cases, and analysis of test results.
• Experience in managing risk and control processes, including timely escalation and resolution of significant issues to management.
• Proven experience in collaboration, teamwork, and strong leadership in managing stakeholder relationships.
• Demonstrated project engagement skills, including the preparation and presentation of regular reports and documentation, effective communication of project status and progress to stakeholders and IT teams, and alignment with business priorities.
