Position: Social Media Marketing Intern

Location: Hybrid

Internship Period: Preferably able to start as soon as possible; minimum commitment period of 3 months

What You'll Be Doing:

• Monitor social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok etc. for trending news, ideas and feedback.
• Manage and enhance our social media platforms to maximise engagement and reach.
• Conceptualise and curate visually stunning content from an endless library of our photo and video assets, aligning with our brand's aesthetic and storytelling.
• Foster a vibrant and wholesome online community by responding to comments, messages, and engaging with followers.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to support social media components of various campaigns, ensuring consistency and creativity.
• Monitor social media analytics, track key performance indicators, and provide insightful reports to optimise our online presence.

What You'll Need:

• Proficiency in social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu (a plus), Douyin (a plus).
• A creative mindset with a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Ability to analyse and identify social media trends.
• An independent and self-driven work ethic.
• Excellent command of English; proficiency in Mandarin (to manage content on XHS and Douyin) is a plus.
• Minimum 3 months commitment.
• Passion for photography, videography, travel, and hospitality preferred.

Internship Overview

We are on the lookout for a Marketing Intern to support our team across social media management and event planning. This opportunity includes hands-on experience writing for and managing the global social media accounts of our manufacturing & design brands as well as playing an active role in planning and executing face-to-face, fan & community events in Singapore. On-boarding training and occasional work-from-home days will be provided. This internship is also open to recent graduates who are passionate about music, content creation, digital marketing, and event planning.

What you’ll do
Content Creation

• Develop and pitch innovative, creative ideas, effectively communicating the potential impact and value they can bring
• Create and write effective content to market our musical instrument brands, its products and campaigns across multiple channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube)
• Brainstorm & participate in the conceptualisation of our brands’ social media calendars
• Assist in the conceptualisation of high quality, inspiring, and thumb-stopping content

Content Upload

• Plan, schedule, and execute daily content uploads for Instagram, Facebook and YouTube
• Monthly reporting of social media analytics

Online Community Management

• Engage with our brands’ community and fans through social media
• Identifying and cultivating high quality impactful user-generated content

Artist & Event Support

• Get hands-on experience developing and executing exciting artist and fan-centric events with local and international talent

• Experience with Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs)

• Able to commit to 6 months internship (full time; Monday to Friday; 2-days in office per week)

Social Media Management Intern - Roles & Responsibilities

• Platform Management: Intern to manage and create content for the PRISM+ TikTok Channel and other social media platforms when necessary.
• Video Editing: Editing short-form videos with footage captured by the social media team on Adobe Premiere. Camera skills are a bonus, but not necessary.
