Candidate should be responsible for design and implementation of tailored solutions that address specific business use cases. The role involves aligning the business objectives with technical capabilities, ensuring the delivery of effective, future-proof solutions.

Key Responsibilities

· To lead, manage and ensure the success delivery of projects, while ensuring and enforcing conformance to principles, guidelines and best practices

· To design solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems, leveraging the best tools and technologies.

· To facilitate requirements workshop and bridge the gaps between users and technology.

· To provide deep technical expertise to assess solution proposal and specification.

· To work closely with key stakeholders from various business units to understand their business requirements and translate them into systems and applications architectural specifications.

· To conceptualize and design the end-to-end architecture of the solution by leveraging on the enterprise-wide technology and analytics platform and implement effective IT solutions for the organization and industry and ensuring that they are aligned with the desired business outcomes.

· To resolve technical problems and constraints.

· To provide supervision and guidance to development teams.

· To continually research current and emerging technologies and propose appropriate changes.

What we are looking for

· Working experience in solution architect role, with significant experience leading and facilitating solution conceptualisation sessions with business and technology stakeholders.

· Proficiency in software architecture principles, design patterns and best practices.

· Hands-on experience in designing and developing reusable components, microservices, containers and Kubernetes.

· Working experience in Singapore payment systems will be an advantage.

· Knowledge on OpenShift Container Platform will be an advantage.

· Knowledge on SWIFT architecture and its systems will be an advantage.

· Sound knowledge in coding languages (preferred Java), various operating systems and databases.

· Proven experience in DevSecOps and CI/CD adoption and deployment.

· Certifications in relevant skills (e.g. project management, business analysis, AWS solution architect etc.) will be an advantage.

· Working experience in project management and vendor management.

· Relevant knowledge in change management and business process improvement would be an advantage.

· Must be organized, able to work with minimal supervision, flexible to work on different projects in a rapidly changing environment.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders.

• Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming languages with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience.
• Experience in software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and development environments.
• Ability to work with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with multi-threaded programming and concurrent systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex software issues.
• Good understanding of network programming and protocols is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

This is a 12 month contract based in Singapore. Candidate with Flutter, iOS or Android Development will be preferred.

The Core Objectives:

• Contribute to the development of new features and improvements for our mobile applications, ensuring robustness, performance, and a great user experience.
• Write code that is reusable, scalable and testable with limited guidance. Make sure products are delivered on time and with high quality.
• Participate in the maintenance of existing mobile applications, including bug fixing and performance enhancements.
• Participate in technical discussions with other engineering teams.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team.
• Write unit and integration tests. Collaborate with QAs to make sure our app releases are bug free.
• Work closely with the product and design teams to understand requirements, and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for critical support issues, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a commitment to maintaining high application uptime.
• Participate in agile development and project management processes, including planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and tasks estimations, prioritization, and coordination with team members, to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in mobile development, and suggest improvements to our processes and tools.
• Optimize app performance: network data consumption, battery, storage, app size, app launch time, etc.
• Write engineering specifications to align on timeline, implementation details
• Provide realistic estimates for ambitious tasks by seeking clarifications, effectively plan and prioritize tasks in autonomy

Requirements

• 5+ years of mobile development experience, 3+ years of Flutter engineering experience.
• Fluent in Dart programming language and Flutter ecosystem.
• Understanding of programming paradigms such as OOP, TDD, reactive programming and dependency injection
• Working knowledge like MVVM
• Strong communication skills, eager to learn, to take more responsibility
• Experience program feature end-to-end (understanding background to provide resolutions)
