Job Requirements:

• NITEC/Diploma in Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or related field

Degree/Diploma in Information Technology/Computer Science/Computer Engineering, specializing in software development.

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience software development.
• Proficient in C/C++, Java, C#, Python, Javascript etc is a plus
• Study/Analysis, design, develop, test, deploy and maintain business application systems.
• Participate in the full system development life cycle with application design, development, implementation, and production support.

Your team:

You will be part of the GOTO WMPC Development team responsible for,

• Deliver solutions needed and L3 support to CA's and Credit Risk Control (CRC) personnel to monitor Credit Risk exposure of its global Front Office functions
• Providing systems that ensure Bank's compliance to various regulatory requirements

Your expertise:

• Minimally 7 years of experience in enterprise application and system design with OOA/OOD, UML Modeling, software development and automation
• Hands on experience in Java 11 or above, JMeter, Cucumber, Kafka, Kafka Stream, Spring boot with following modules (not limited to): Spring Web-MVC, Spring Data JPA/Rest, Spring Batch, Spring Cloud Stream (Kafka)
• Solid understanding of RESTful API, Microservice design and implementation
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar
• Able to work under pressure, independently and proactively in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.

Roles and Responsibilities (Software Quality Engineer)

a. Assist Product Owner, Business Analyst to craft out user story acceptance criteria

b. Analyse and decompose complicated software systems, and design a holistic test strategy

c. Conduct research on emerging technologies and develop test automation framework

d. Develop test suites of test scenarios and test cases

e. Take a risk-based approach for test automation

f. Perform time boxed exploratory testing

g. Maintain regression test suite in QA nightly build

h. Actively refine smoke test suite in Development CI environment

i. Lead system integration testing with other systems

j. Manage user acceptance testing

k. Manage defect life cycle, test artefacts and repository

l. Drive continuous improvement in agile testing practices and tools

m. Take on secondary role as low code application development engineer or Security Ops Engineer

n. Improve software quality using XP practices such as code review and unit testing

o. Understand the IT management policy, quality management policy and security guidelines to ensure the development processes, procedures and system are designed to comply with these policies and guidelines

Knowledge and Skills (Software Quality Engineer)

a. Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.

b. Min 3 years’ experience in exploratory testing and regression test automation
