Duties & Responsibilities

a. Assist QA/QC Manager in the managing the QA/QC department.

b. Establish, implement and maintain the QC system for products that need to comply with ASME codes.

c. Prepare, control and maintain the QC Manual in accordance with ASME code.

d. Initiate quality programs and report to QA/QC Manager for the current product quality level.

e. Develop Inspection Test Plan (ITP), inspection and testing procedures.

f. Supervise and guide the team of QC inspectors and administrative assistant.

g. Control the usage of ASME stamps and review ASME’s MDR forms.

h. Maintain and control the welding procedures (WPS) and welder performance qualification records.

i. Any Adhoc assignment given by QA/QC Manager.

Scope and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate equipment and process validation execution, data collection and summaries.
• Perform documentation and release technical requirements/ drawings, write, review or update work instructions for engineering and consumables production lines.
• Assist in MES ticket and process verification/ validation activities.
• Assist Process Engineers in providing direct support to troubleshooting, sustaining and continuous improvement for consumables production lines related to new product development, yield, quality and throughput.
• Recommend and assist in implementation of improvements in a production environment to meet goals across multiple operations and technologies.
• Assist with design and execution of controlled experiments to optimize processes; document and analyze process test results.
• Support with Engineering/ R&D teams to develop processes for new products and improve processes of existing products.
• Supports nonconforming material analysis and investigations.

Qualifications:

• Possess good understanding of manufacturing process and regulated biotech or medical devices manufacturing environment.
• Capable of executing test plans for components, materials, systems and processes.
• Competent in Microsoft word, excel, powerpoint
• Knowledge in product & process feasibility study, line validation, qualification and optimization to production
• Excellent team player, interpersonal and communication skill.
• Well-developed documentation and technical report writing skills
• Able to work well under stress, both internally and across functions and perform multitasking.

Job Description

• Oversee process design for process plant (Wastewater Treatment Plant, Water Treatment Plant, etc) including process simulation, mass balance, process flow diagram (PFD), P&ID, equipment layout, sizing calculation, control philosophy, process input for instrument/valve list, etc
• Provide process input and coordinate with other disciplines (including the BIM modelling team) for the design, installation and T&C work
• Oversee technical review of process equipment/system vendors’ proposal and submission during procurement, detailed design and installation stages, support the procurement and tender work
• Prepare the process submissions and resubmissions to project consultants and client according to project schedule and clear the submittal comments
• Manage the process equipment suppliers to meet the project schedule and quality requirements for design, installation and testing & commissioning
• Support on the testing and commissioning work

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in chemical/environmental/mechanical engineering
• Minimum 4 Years’ experience in process design and engineering work, ideally in water/wastewater treatment projects (Including sludge treatment); For senior position, candidate must have at least 8 years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with local environmental regulations (e.g., PUB standards) and international design codes
• Strong understanding of biological, chemical, and physical treatment processes
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision, make sound decisions, take independent action, and provide focused solutions to assigned projects
• Possess strong inter-personal and communication skills and be able to work well with people at all levels in the organization
• Must have advanced computer literacy in commonly usedsoftware applications such as MS Office
• Knowledge in Naviswork and Bentley View Software will be an added advantage

Element has an opportunity for an Senior Engineer (6-month contract) to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Engineer position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for coordination, scheduling and work planning with customers and authorized examiners
• Provide technical solution and testing proposals to customers to enure their equipment are tested according to regulation and international standards
• Attend customer meetings and site visit to provide feedback and appropriate advice as well as manage and handle respective contract customers to avoid any disruption on customers operation
• Perform test result update into the system, prepare test certification, and test report for customers
• Involve in contract preparation and contract negotiation

Job Requirements:

• Lead a team of technicians for site testing and inspection on lifting equipment and pressure vessel

• Experience in customer service preferred

Monitor performance of multi-skilled craft workers in the installation, removal, or adjustment of equipment or components in accordance with established project procedures, requirements and specifications.

Monitor construction schedules, methods, manning charts, materials and equipment requirements.

Establish effective communications with the Client's field representative, through discussions, and such other arrangements as are required to maintain close working relationships.

Supervise electrical and instrumentation construction work as per IFC drawings.
