Education and Experience:

• Masters/bachelor’s in engineering
• Relevant working experiences in RDA and/or Metrology
• Willing and capable of international travel, including Extended International Business Travel (EIBT) assignment to 6 months as needed, to accomplish the goals.

Maximizes yield by working on tools, the process, or wafer fabrication recipes. Troubleshoots wafer fabrication problems and performs root cause analysis. Works with other process areas to understand and control process deviations. Long-term investigation of defect issues may require extensive work with shift engineering and other functional areas. Evaluates products to ensure they meet the required design and performance specifications. Conducts research to assess process adjustment requirements and recommends process improvements or equipment changes needed to efficiently manufacture new product or part types.

Main Duties:

• Involves in all aspects relating to the Tender, Design and Construction Management of all types of Civil and Structural Systems for Industrial Facilities Buildings.
• In-charge of the design of Concrete and Steel Structures.
• Assists Project Managers in achieving project completion within budget and on schedule and quality.
• Prepares, Issues and Evaluates Tender packages.
• Coordinates with Architectural and Process, Mechanical, Electrical disciplines, and Quantity surveyors.
• Address site issues related to design.
• Liaises with Consultants and sub-contractors.
• Provides direction and coaching to other junior team members.
• Manages timely submission and approvals from local authorities.
• Mentoring Civil & Structural engineers during tendering, design and construction phase based on best practices defined in the engineering efficiency checklist.

• Responsible for ensuring to remain familiar with current practices and engineering trends within the industry and remain technically competent.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering; master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred
• Diploma holders with additional 2 - 3 years’ experience unless equated with professional certifications.
• 6 - 8 years of Design and Construction experience
• 1 - 2 years additional experience for each higher grade of progression

Types of Experience:

• Design and Construction experience preferably in industrial buildings with Precast and Long span roof trusses experiences.
• Site experience on piling works, Sub-structure and Super structure works for reinforce concrete and Steel structures and Precast structures.
• Experience working closely with Process, Mechanical and Electrical disciplines, and Quantity surveyor.
• Experience of liaising with consultants and contractors.
• Experience with checking of shop drawings for Precast and steel structures and able to do detailed Design and work in a team and able to provide details for cad.
• Able to do Tender / preliminary Design, Detailed Design, Preparation and Managing the subcontract tender packages and lead the team of Engineers and Computer Aided Design
• Conversant with the Local Authorities requirements for Civil and Structural submissions

Incident and Problem Management

Monitor the results and quality of the different software solutions and projects implemented in the organisation:

• Manage/Own P1/P2 incidents and problems end to end.
