Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to manage and enhance our IT systems, ensuring efficient and uninterrupted operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and optimise computer networks and IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and cloud-based systems, to support operational needs.
• Develop and implement security measures and best practices for data protection and information security, including creating policies, managing access controls, and performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Oversee software updates, apply system patches, and maintain hardware components to ensure the security and functionality of IT systems, including storage, devices, and networks.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks to maintain the integrity and security of IT infrastructure.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot IT-related issues for colleagues, ensuring operations run smoothly.
• Train team members on secure computing practices and network safety protocols.
• Carry out additional tasks as required to support the organisation’s IT needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Certifications such as CCNS, CISSP, or MCSE are advantageous.
• Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Windows operating systems, network administration, cybersecurity, and advanced IT technologies (e.g., AI/ML, cloud solutions).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to diagnostics.
• A professional attitude with the ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal oversight.
