Role Description:

As the System Engineering Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing and leading a team of talented system engineers. You will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our engineering solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, software engineers, electrical engineers, and mechanical engineers, you will ensure the successful execution of projects, meeting customer requirements, and driving technical excellence.

• Manage the system engineering lifecycle, including requirements gathering, system design, prototyping, testing, deployment, and post-deployment support.
• Ensuring quality of the deliverables by employing QA tools such as FMEA, FTA
• To create test plans and execute them, and manage defects to ensure that they are adequately addressed
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure system reliability, availability, and maintainability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Proven experience in System Engineering or Quality Assurance is ideal
• Strong technical background and understanding of various engineering disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, and software engineering.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical engineering or related discipline, with 5 years of relevant experience in managing maintenance projects at process plants and / or other similar process environment.
• Extensive knowledge of process, mechanical, construction, design, finance and advanced project management techniques.

• Plan, direct and coordinate activities associate with a given project. Requirements:

OPERATIONAL

The window person interpreting the customer’s requirements, URS and translating them into proposal and conceptualization for new machine/equipment as well as build-from-print projects.

In-liaison and follow-up with the customer on project proposal and review, subsequent project activities and development

To collaborate and work together with the Design Team (comprising of both mechanical & electrical members) for the design concept arising from new projects proposal and confirmed projects.

To perform detail designs and drafting of detail drawings (parts drawings) on time and upon the approval of the project manager, forward the designs to the respective vendors and suppliers for quotations & fabrication.

To spearhead meetings and review with the design team and the customers on design requirements and specification.

To guide and assist the assistant design engineers & junior designers in their job scope ranging from detailed designing, the selection of materials/standard items to the checking of drawings etc.

The incumbent is responsible for managing/leading the Section Lab daily operations to support the achievement of the sales targets. In addition, the incumbent is to ensure the testing meets the ISO/IEC 17025 requirement and tests according to relevant standard and specification to fulfil the client/customer requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee the routine and special works to meet the customer requirements, which include but not limited to:

- Review the relevant standards and test requirements before commencement of the jobs

- Organise and provide staffing, equipment and materials for testing
