RESPONSIBILITIES

• Management of fast-paced and/or complex projects undertaken by ITS Science & Medical in Singapore or regional areas.
• Responsible for project management of infrastructure services supplied/offered by the Company that include, but not limited to hospital infrastructure, animal facilities, laboratory furniture, industrial, schools and other systems.
• Manage ACMV, HVAC system laboratory projects to completion in both Singapore and/or international standard, adhering to quality assurance policies and meeting performance standards
• Liaise with all stakeholders including facility management, architects, M&E consultants on engineering design and user specification, ensuring compliance
• Part-take in project tendering meetings and provide technical advice to tender team
• Prepare and manage project schedule and monitor project activities by project team to ensure compliance to activity execution timeline
• Provide technical support to Support sales team from time to time.
• Ensure Workplace Safety and Health is implemented at site.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering disciplines.
• Experience in ACMV is preferred.
• Preferably with 3-5 years of relevant work experience handling construction projects (designing & management)
• Valid Class 3 driving license and personal vehicle will be an added advantage.
• Team player with a great can-do attitude.
• Outgoing personality.

In this position, you will join our Transport, Land & Water business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of building and infrastructure projects.

• Provide comprehensive design and project management services to clients, including preliminary & detailed design of Water projects including roadworks, earthworks, sewerage, water, and drainage.
• Carry out design calculations and produce sketch drawings, preparation of tender documents and proposals. Write, consolidate, and review technical reports of water projects and studies.
• Lead and delegate tasks within a workgroup, act as a technical expert to mentor other engineers within the team, while supervising and coordinating to ensure quality and accuracy of designs.
• Ensure compliance with Project Design Criteria/Client Brief/ Approved Concept, as well as relevant design standards and office standards.
• Assist in business development activities and establish good working relationship with local authorities at the project and local market level.

• Recognized Civil Engineering qualification or related field (Bachelor/ Master’s degree).
• Minimum 10 to 15 years of professional design experience in the field of civil works design preferably in roads, drainage, and sewerage projects of PUB, JTC, HDB, URA, LTA, etc.
• Sound understanding and knowledge of civil related regulation, standards, and reference of design – such as Euro Design Codes, Singapore Standards and Codes of Practice, and statutory requirements (LTA, BCA, PUB etc.), with hands on experience in usage of Civil Engineering Software.
• Excellent technical writing and presentation skills
• Energetic, proactive, and reliable team player with excellent communication and project coordination skills.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing the core backend architecture of our products. We’re looking for someone with deep expertise in Rust or Golang and a proven track record of developing and scaling highavailability systems. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to build MVPs, iterate on them, and scale solutions that are reliable and performant under high loads.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Rust or Golang.

Qualifications:

• 2-5+ years of experience in backend engineering, with at least 1 year in Rust or Golang.

• Proven expertise on working with Kafka

• Strong understanding of real-time systems, with experience building highavailability solutions.

• Proven experience in building and scaling MVPs to production-grade systems.

• Solid understanding of database design, distributed systems, and RESTful/GraphQL APIs.

Job Description

• Designs of mechanical engineering service for building projects, and knowledge of electrical engineering services
• Prepare tender documents, call tenders, evaluate tender returns and recommend tender awards
• Project management, coordination, supervisions, testing and commissioning for installations of mechanical and electrical engineering services during construction phases. This includes reviewing shop drawings, progress claims and variation claims.
• Engage in discussions with relevant authorities for preparations and submissions of plans
• Attend meetings with clients, contractors and suppliers
• Manage project through defined project scopes, detailed project plans & seek client’s agreements for sign-off
• Track project status and provide regular updates to ensure projects are on tracks
• Any other works as may be directed due to specific requirement of the projects

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
• Preferably 5 years of working experience in designs, supervisions and implementation
• Experience in engineering consultancy or construction industry would be an added advantage
• Able to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment

• Carry out Level 2 systems administration tasks, including system monitoring, management, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
• Support the management of on-premises and cloud systems across Microsoft, AIX, Virtual (VMWare or Hyper-V), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, and Microsoft 365 infrastructure such as Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Contribute to the design, setup, configuration, implementation, and deployment of new server environments and cloud technologies on Azure or AWS.
• Plan and allocate IT resources for tasks or projects, including budget preparation and capacity planning.
• Maintain and update technical documentation related to systems administration for on-premises systems, AWS, Azure, and Microsoft 365 cloud infrastructure.
• Perform system maintenance, upgrades, patch management, and resolve incidents during non-business hours as required.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in system support and server administration, including implementing and managing cloud infrastructure, with a strong understanding of Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud technologies.
• Practical experience in implementing and configuring Azure and AWS services such as virtual machines, application services, load balancers, SQL Managed Instances, site-to-site VPNs, storage solutions, networking, security, logging, and monitoring.
• Hands-on experience in managing on-premises environments, including Windows Server, VMware vSphere, and Hyper-V.
• Proficient in administering Microsoft 365 cloud technologies such as Exchange Online, Entra ID, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Intune.
• Familiarity with AIX/Unix systems and other IBM products (e.g., IBM WebSphere MQ, WebSphere, Tivoli Storage Manager Backup) is a plus.
• Relevant certifications in Azure, Microsoft 365, or AWS technologies (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Endpoint Administrator Associate, or AWS SysOps Administrator) are advantageous.
• Skilled in project and people management, capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
