The Role

Summary

The Regional Director Security Operations (RDSO) is responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team that executes a global security operations program for a multi-national IT organization. Services provided include security operations, safety, budget and financial execution, logistics, and employee recruitment, onboarding and training. The security operations program is comprised of regional security man-guarding functions, a security operations center, development and management of security operations metrics, branch liaison, personnel management and driving key security operations projects and initiatives for datacenters on a multi $100M global Client account. POSITION SUMMARY/MISSION

The Director, Global Supply Chain Sustainability is responsible for providing leadership and management of Samsonite’s supply chain sustainability program in support of Our Responsible Journey, the company’s global sustainability strategy. This role will focus on social and environmental topics including but not limited to human rights, climate, and sustainable materials. The role works closely with key internal and external partners, including our sourcing, product development, design, legal, and other teams, as well as with our suppliers and other partners.

This role will be based in Singapore.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The successful candidate will engage cross-functionally to drive and further evolve supply chain sustainability strategy and, importantly, partner on the implementation and delivery of these critical initiatives. The company is seeking an individual who is a skillful translator of a diverse set of topics to our regions and brands and who helps to effectively integrate and embed sustainability into the business, driving progress towards our global sustainability goals.

Strategy

• Partner with our Regional Presidents, Sourcing and Brand leads to provide strategic direction on how to implement the company’s commitments and goals in Our Responsible Journey in our supply chain, build out programs, procedures and governance;

• Maintain and evolve our Sustainable Material Guidance, in partnership with the regions;

Engagement and Implementation

Minimum Requirements

Experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, sustainability or similar.

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in sustainability, with at least 6 years focus on responsible sourcing, supply chain sustainability and/or Human Rights.

Brief Summary

The Regional Finance Director partners with the Commercial SVP to drive growth sustainably by driving efficiency in the investments being made to drive topline and bottom line as well.
