Job Description:

• Create detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions
• Manage, track and raise project issues and exceptions where required for approval
• Involve in the requirement study and gathering, creating mockups, creating test cases and testing, and driving a smooth deployment and adoption
• and support the ongoing operations of the project
• Understanding and troubleshooting technical issues when needed
• Learn to undertake root cause analysis for problems in order to implement preventive and corrective
• measures to meet business and performance needs
• Use of Excel, Access, and SQL to perform collection, analysis and profiling of large volumes of data
• Write and document requirements and functional specifications
• Observe industry trends and recommend new features or solutions to the product development team

Job Specifications:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Business, Information System/technology, computer science, or equivalent
• Prior knowledge and experience in Business Analytics
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools like MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Effective oral and written management communication skills
• Good analytical skills
• Adaptable and flexible

Department:

Business Risk & Control Management (BRCM) function to strengthen its operational risk management practice. A critical part of the BRCM mandate is to carry out independent control testing on key processes to intercept issues early and to enhance operational controls where necessary. Candidates are required to perform the control testing on periodic basis (monthly / quarterly) and to provide findings and recommendations to Group Finance BRCM, and to stakeholders for implementation.

Job Description:

• Ascertain whether the Group Finance department has followed Key Risk and Control Self-Assessment (KRCSA) methodology in their control testing
• Perform independent testing to assess if controls are operating as intended.
• Document samples, test steps, results and findings
• Follow up with the department to put up action plan(s) for ineffective controls to ensure that prompt action is taken to prevent or minimize the potential occurrence of risk incidents
• Monitor the progress of action plans and report to BRCM
• Work closely with Country BRCM to roll out independent assurance review, incident escalation reporting, and OR programmes to ensure compliance with the related Group policies.

Job Responsibilities

· Carry out Operations General Control testing in accordance with Assurance methodology and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls relating to risk within those function areas which include treasury products processing and custody operations.

· Adopt a range of sources and methods to obtain knowledge and apply judgment based on sound business knowledge of day-to-day assurance review work; this includes identifying and assessing key risks and designing testing to assess the design and operating effectiveness of the key controls in place to mitigate risk.

· Collaborate with subject matter experts (SME) and other teams in integrated assurance reviews and actively contribute to the delivery of team plans in support of the functional and business strategies under limited supervision.

· To support in Data Analytics use case testing and validations, to augment traditional control testing approach.

Job Descriptions

· Minimum 2 to 3 years of working experience in banks, audit, operations or risk management.

· Experience in usage of data analytics for audit or assurance work will be a strong plus.

· Possess a strong analytical and problem solving skills; think objectively and 'think outside the box' when analyzing issues.

· Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) to deliver timely assurance reports to senior management and stakeholders.

· Able to learn fast , multitask and cope with changes in a fast-paced environment

· Self-motivated and driven, able to work independently.
