Tasks

• Drive the implementation of the SHE plans and management systems within his department and the terminal
• Manage the occupational health & industrial hygiene programs in the terminals
• Ensure a positive & proactive safety culture is maintained in the terminal through the organization of appropriate safety culture programs
• Manage and monitor the terminal SHE resources such as budget, personal protective equipment and permit-to-work stocks
• Ensure compliance to all statutory safety, health, environment and security requirements through updates, reviews and audits
• Take action to improve regulatory SHE performance and resolve non-compliances
• Oversee and manage the terminal’s risk management process through conducting risk assessments and reviews

• Manage, motivate and develop terminal staff and contractors in all SHE aspects
• Lead the terminal SHE department to ensure a high level of performance through mentoring and coaching

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of safety, health and environmental management experience with at least 3 years in a management position
• Strong understanding of Singapore safety regulations including WSH Acts, Regulations and Standards and regulatory process
