About the job

In your role as an intern in the Sales and Supply Support team, you will create and constantly improve excellent availability, range management and forecasting at the lowest possible costs. Together with the Sales and Supply Support Manager, you will support the Store’s commercial team and act as a communication link between the store and Supply and Availability, Service Office matrix.

Your assignment

• You will assist in the stock inventory process to secure highest stock accuracy level.
• Support the Sales and Supply Support Manager with stock discrepancies analysis as part of the inventory management process.
• Carry out qualitative and timely administration of parameters in the system to prevent unnecessary orders to manage healthy range frame.
• Check and follow up on order creation to achieve healthy stock structure and capacity.
• You will shadow the Sales and Supply support specialist to learn about our role in the Commercial team.

Your profile

• You are a team player with strong interpersonal skills; able to establish and maintain effective work relationships with cross-departmental colleagues and confident in approaching and talking to people from all levels.
• You are proficient in MS Office / Excel.
• You can commit to work on public holidays and weekends.

Main responsibilities

1) Know the tools and help the planners to prepare the data for the day-to-day analysis

• Run DRP tools
• Run the extractions and prepare monthly cost analysis
• Invoicing of the flow back to France

2) Follow one or two novelties project (launch of a new product):

• Ensure the inventory deployment according to markets demand and logistics set up
• Coordinate the replenishment flow with central supply management, local distribution planning, demand planning and customer service teams
• Give visibility of availability of the products by channel according to the short- and medium-term priorities
• Control the availability of products, identify and report the shortages / stocks excess risks
• Raise alerts and propose arbitration to management.
• Propose backup solutions in case of delay or shortage

3) Continuous improvement projects

• Punctual analysis to perform and actions plan proposal to improve our efficiency.

• Supply Chain Project analysis: participate in bottleneck management, preparation of weekly review of pending orders status with suppliers.
• Data analytics & reporting: support S&OP Supply Validation including collection, compilation and analysis on purchase forecast, vendor delivery performance.
• KPI status tracking.
• Power BI analysis and development of Power BI dashboards.
• Supply Planning: support source planner on procurement-to-pay process, and hands on experience on SAP module.
• Master Data maintenance

Project Title: Singapore’s Inaugural Supply Chain & Connectivity Week 2024

[What you will be working on]

The intern will play a critical role in the organisation of Singapore’s inaugural Supply Chain and Connectivity (SCC) Week in October 2024, and to support in the smooth delivery of the following key outcomes: 

• Curation of the overall event programme that addresses the latest trends and developments in the supply chain and connectivity domain

• Develop the overall event marketing messages that reflects Singapore’s ambitions to be a globally leading supply chain and connectivity hub 

• Overall project management and to ensure overall smooth planning and execution for the event 

Learning outcomes and other experiences:

• Understand latest trends and developments that will pose threats and opportunities to the supply chain and connectivity domain 

• Understand Singapore’s strategic plans to strengthen our position as a globally leading supply chain and connectivity hub 

• Understand EDB’s efforts to partner global companies to develop and strengthen Singapore’s supply chain and connectivity ecosystem 

[What we are looking for]

• Singaporean/PR

• Studies in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Project Management, Engineering or any related areas

• Available for a 3-month internship from Aug - Oct 2024

• Skills in marketing, PR or graphic design are a plus but not compulsory
