• Salary : Basic up to $3500 + Transport Allowance $100 + AWS + VB
• Working Hours: Monday - Thursday: 8:30am to 6pm; Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm
• Location: Geylang Bahru

Job Scope:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, carriers, suppliers, and other stakeholders in day-to-day business operations
• Manage customer orders, including related documentation, and coordinate transport bookings with carriers based on specified routing and service levels
• Monitor the execution of transport activities
• Handle customer requests and address incidents or disruptions in the supply chain
• Assist in the on-boarding process for new suppliers
• Act as a backup for supervisors in case of their absence
• Facilitate the on-boarding, training, and guidance of new staff during their initial period
• Assist supervisors in updating and revising work instructions and provide feedback on best practices
• Continuously on-board and train suppliers on SOPs and system usage

Responsibilities

• To carry out all Terminal operations including Control Room, Jetty, Manifold, Tank Farm, Utility and Emergency Response Tasks
• To coordinate berthing and un-berthing of vessels alongside of the terminal
• To carry out tank sampling/dipping
• To carry out loading and discharge operation
• To carry out loading arms/hose connection and disconnection
• To liaise/coordinate with surveyors and mooring crew
• Shipping documentation
• To comply and support the safety and emergency response procedures of the terminal

Requirements

• Preferably with Terminal experience
• Preferably with Higher National ITE Certificate
• Applicants must be willing to work in Jurong Island, Singapore.
• Working hours: 12- hr shift work
• Internal and external training will be provided

JOB RESPOSIBILITIES :-

1.) LOCAL DELIVERY, PURCHASE AND COLLECTION.

2.) PACKING, LOADING AND UNLOADING.

3.) CHECKING AND PACKING SHIP SUPPLY ORDERS.

4.) GOING ON BOARD OF THE SHIP IN PORT AND ANCHORAGE.

5.) ACCOUNT FOR CASH TO BE COLLECTED AND SUBMIT PROMPTLY.

6.) LIASISE CLOSELY WITH OPERATION AND PURCHASING DEPARTMENT.

7.) POSITION DATA ENTRY, ACCOUNTING KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED.

8.) POSITION DATA ENTRY, HANDLE FULL SET OF PURCHASING PROCESS(SOURCING, QUOTATION IN INQUIRY, NEGOTIATION AND FOLLOW UP)

9.)POSITION DATA ENTRY, ASSIST TO SOURCE MATERIALS, PARTS, TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT'S REQUIRED BY SHIP MASTER. FOLLOW AND HANDLE RETURNED, REJECTED ITEMS TO SETTLE CASES.

10.) DOCUMENTATIONS(CLEARANCE, DECLARATION ETC).

11.) MOTIVATE AND PROVIDE A GOOD WORKING ATTITUDE WITH OPERATION TEAM.

JOB REQUIREMENT :-

1.) PEOPLE ORIENTED WITH GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS.

2.) SELF-MOTIVATED, HARDWORKING, TEAM PLAYER AND TIGHT DEADLINES.

3.) IRREGULAR WORKING HOURS EXPECTED.

4.) CLASS 2,3,4 DRIVING LICENCE. FORKLIFT LICENCE.

5.) 2 YEARS RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE IN RELATED FIELD, PREFERABLY IN SHIP SUPPLY INDUSTRY.

6.) SELF MOTORBIKE TRANSPORT.
