As part of the Global Materials Supply (GMS) Team, The Director of Materials will lead the GMS organization that services VANS, Dickies, TBL, Napapijri & SWIB – responsible for raw materials sourced through the Asia Sourcing Offices (ASO). With a team of 4 Direct Report and 11 associates and more than $400M of raw material spend under management annually, the individual is responsible for creating the Material Sourcing Strategy and managing an efficient material supply model that meets or exceeds KPI’s including quality, cost and On-Time-Performance of all raw material spec’d in VANS, Dickies, TBL, Napapijri & SWIB apparel products. GMS Director is expected to act as a business enabler and accelerator, creating scaled capabilities to deliver global efficiencies. · Strategic Planning:

o Build the long- and short-term Raw Material Supply strategy for VANS, Dickies, TBL, Napapijri & SWIB brands factoring in footprint movements, supply models, lead times, cost effectivenes, sustainable materials, brand and sourcing needs (>$400M annual spend across more than 236 suppliers)

The Trading Operator is responsible in for executing trades from contract conclusion by the Trading teams to cash collection:

Business objectives

• Is responsible for the issuance and control of any laytime calculations and claims with ship owners, suppliers and customers.
• Initiating cash in – cash out processes at transactional level upstream from Finance.
• Prepare reports, statistics for the Team Leaders, Traders or other internal stakeholders when required.
• Escalate any operational issues to the Team Leader and/or the Trader and/or the Chartering Manager.
• Share internally any market/business intelligence collected through daily interaction with customers and suppliers.
• Collect and forward customer inquiries to the relevant Trader.

Risk management

• Adhere to the Holcim Code of Business Conduct, Trading Policy and Shipping Directive and all relevant Holcim policies.
• Protection of the Holcim Group reputation and brand value for relevant seaborne trading activities.
• Anticipation, mitigation and resolution of trade incidents under the Trading team’s guidance, providing suggestions on mitigations strategies.

Summary of Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:

• Daily checking of roster to ensure that sufficient manpower is available to operate the various types of pressing equipment.

• Operate the Hot Press and Steam Press according to suitability of the materials and textures.
• Inspect finishing quality and sort out garments with missing accessories, torn areas or unremovable stains and submit to the appropriate section for necessary rectification.
• Operate all pressing equipment according to the set procedures and strictly adhere to safety procedures applicable to each type of pressing machine. Alertness and full concentration is expected when operating pressing machine.
• Daily housekeeping of workstation and pressing equipment to ensure cleanliness.
• Maintain adequate stock of supplies and accessories necessary for the pressing section such as wax, starch, ironing padding, hangers, etc.
• Assist in attaching identification tags to garments or assembling of garments when necessary.
