What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking an individual who thrives in a consultative role and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of experience in the Supply Chain Management (SCM) domain, either in industry, consulting, or pre-sales.
• 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning using tools like Kinaxis, E2open, Feature Master, Relex, or JDA.
• 2+ years of pre-sales experience, with a proven ability to design and present client-focused solutions.
• Strong presentation, client relationship, and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive approach to challenging traditional ways of doing things and advocating for innovative solutions.
• The ability to take a consultative selling approach by actively listening to client needs and developing a shared vision.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. Postgraduate degrees and SCM professional qualifications are a plus.

Objectives:

• Lead the operational Supply Chain for the division Nutrition & Health in Asia and a diverse team across Asia responsible for the end-to-end execution of customer order fulfilment and availability in the region.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, especially in Sales, Global Production Planning, Delivery Services and external service providers, to align service quality in Asia with overall business objectives.
• Manage operational processes within the business unit and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure high service quality through continuous improvement of processes, with focus on Demand Validation and Order-to-Delivery execution together with the Sales and Regional Supply Chain peers globally.
• Lead the digital and organizational transformation for the Supply Chain in Asia in alignment with the broader business and company objectives as part of a Global Supply Chain Leadership team.
• Implementing training and digital upskilling for employees while inspiring and guiding the team to foster high performance and a positive work atmosphere as part of a winning culture.
• Analyses performance metrics and cost trends in your area of responsibility, deriving actionable steps for continuous improvement and efficiency. In addition, you manage budgeting and resources to optimize departmental assets.

Requirements:

• Minimum degree in supply chain or other related field.
• Experience in the field of Supply Chain and/or Order to Cash or closely linked commercial roles
• Leadership experience in global and diverse context
• Structured work organization and high teamwork competence, along with excellent analytical thinking abilities
• Profound understanding of company and/or other corporate, global organizations with end-to-end execution and their culture

• Implementation of Contracts (Purchase / Sales/ Traded) .
• Pre-shipment activities ( Scrutiny of contracts, Scheduling , nomination of dates / quantity for cargo and nomination of vessel, preparation activities (payment security, documentation, insurance, surveying / agency appointment etc.)
• Post-shipment activities ( Scrutiny and circulation of relevant documents, surveying, payment coordination, claims coordination - demurrage, dead freight, cargo shortage)
• Implementation of Carriage Contracts (charterparties)
• Issuing of voyage instructions, nomination of shipping agents, tracking of vessel positions, coverage by P&I, appointment of inspectors for ROB survey, issuing LoI to vessel owners, calculation of BTA (balance time available), coordination with planning / terminal for berthing of vessel, coordination for claims (demurrage, dead freight, cargo shortage, ROB disputes)
• Entering / processing the contract in SAP / Trading system.
• Preparing various management Reports (MIS) viz Prepare MIS for Demurrage, dead freight, crude oil arrivals, ocean loss and TC vessel time and capacity utilization
• Claim Settlements
• Settlement of payment to various counterparties - P&I club, surveyors and agents etc

- Brief & guide customers on how to play the games

- Sanitise equipment after each session

- Tidy and clean up the equipment and shop

- Assist in creating marketing contents

- Admin duties when required

Working hours:

Wednesdays to Sundays from 1 pm - 10 pm

Choice to change the off days on 2 weekend days per month
