Key Responsibilities

Operations:

• Manage the end-to-end device lifecycle, from procurement to fulfillment, ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. This includes:
• Sourcing and Procurement: Identify, evaluate, and select vendors; negotiate pricing and contracts; manage vendor relationships; and stay informed about market trends and new technologies.
• Fulfillment and Logistics: Process orders accurately and efficiently; manage inventory levels; collaborate with logistics providers to optimize shipping and delivery; and resolve any fulfillment-related issues.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure product quality, timely delivery, and favorable terms.

Customer Support:

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing accurate and helpful information about products, services, or policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues or complaints, escalating complex cases to appropriate teams or management when necessary.
• Process orders, returns, or exchanges, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Track and follow up on customer interactions, documenting details and resolutions in the CRM system.

Relationship Building:

• Foster positive and professional relationships with customers, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
• Anticipate customer needs and provide proactive solutions or recommendations.
• Go the extra mile to exceed customer expectations, ensuring their complete satisfaction.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with customers, using clear and concise language.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, or technical support, to address customer inquiries or resolve issues.
• Provide feedback to management on customer trends or concerns, suggesting improvements to processes or products.

Other Duties:

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and policies.
• Participate in training programs or workshops to enhance customer service skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Internship description

The intern will join MCapital Insights in Singapore from the beginning of January 2025 and will be working within a small and hands-on team mostly based in France (Paris) with direct senior and client exposure, on the following topics:

• On direct investments:
• Prepare market studies and screenings
• Perform strategic analyses and due diligence on targeted companies
• Challenge business plans and execute financial modeling
• Write investment memos for internal purposes
• Attend conference calls and in-person meetings with entrepreneurs, other funds, investment bankers, industry experts, etc.

Ideal candidate

• Singaporean or Permanent Resident
• Final year student from top tier universities with major in Finance, Accounting, or other business-related subjects.
• Strong financial knowledge and keen interest for entrepreneurship and private equity.
• Excellence in English (speaking and writing). French not required
• Technical proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge in private equity industry and pervious intern experience with VC/PE is a plus.
• Local students in local or with eligible student visa.

Contract period : Immediate (11 months)

1. Perform all related activities in support of team’s 3 planned focus studies - Heavy Metals in Fish and Grains, Chlorate in Poultry using 4 different methods of analysis by ICP-MS, LC-ICPMS and LC-MSMS.

2. Sample preparation on fish, grains, and poultry, according to quality system ensuring full compliance to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements.

3. Manage acid/chemical wastes and sample disposal after completion of testing.

Requirement :

1. Diploma in Applied Chemistry, Food Science, or chemical sciences, or other related scientific fields. Salary max $14.20 per hour depending on qualification and relevant working experience.

Other requirements

1. Basic knowledge on Good Laboratory Practices

2. Basic knowledge on operating general laboratory equipment

3. Prior experience with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 laboratory quality system is an added advantage.
