Your opportunity
Continuing a trend of bold and targeted growth in the Asia Pacific region, we have an exciting opportunity for a Principal People Advisor, Asia to join our regional Asia team in a business partnering role.
In this business partnership role, you will oversee the team that supports HR advisory services for Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan. The role will also work closely with the regional/group project leads and local HR advisory teams to deliver people programme projects. There will be a focus on rolling out several Group-wide people initiatives, positively impacting our business.
This role will see you:
- Be the trusted people advisor to leaders and managers, leading and delivering first-class HR Advisory services on people-related matters such as complex employee grievances, exits and contract negotiations.
- Manage the business-as-usual people processes such as salary/bonus reviews, talent reviews and performance management.
- Leading and managing HR projects regionally, working closely with the wider Asia HR teams and business stakeholders.
- Developing and coaching People Managers to enhance the employee experience, managing change and reinforcing desired people manager behaviours.
- Collaborating and working with regional HR teams to implement HR strategies and initiatives.
- Using workforce analytics and data to drive the development of solutions, programs, and policies.
- Responsible for driving governance on people processes, with a focus on privacy and data security.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in business/human resource management
- 8-10 years of relevant human resources experience.
- Regional HR advisory experience in Asia is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills within a global matrixed business environment.
- Good stakeholder management and engagement skills to facilitate, collaborate and coach people manager and business leaders.
