Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Ariba Support Specialist to test, train and support the end-users based on the company's procurement process. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth adoption and optimal usage of the SAP Ariba platform, helping users effectively navigate and utilize the software.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Proven experience with SAP ARIBA, including a strong understanding of procurement processes.
- Candidate has implemented and deployed at least 2 global/regional SAP ARIBA projects.
- Experience in delivering user training, providing ongoing support, and facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure smooth transitions and user adoption.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving user issues, ensuring seamless system performance and end-user satisfaction.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Desired Skill-set
- Familiarity with other procurement tools and systems.
- Experience in change management and user adoption strategies.
- Certification in SAP Ariba or relevant procurement methodologies is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with project teams to develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans;
- Identify, document, and communicate any issues or necessary enhancements during the testing phases, ensuring timely resolution;
- Assist in refining processes based on user feedback to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the SAP Ariba system;
- Create tailored training materials and user guides for different user roles, ensuring content is relevant and accessible;
- Lead in-person or virtual training sessions for end-users, ensuring proper comprehension and practical application of the system;
- Offer ongoing support during training sessions, answering questions, addressing concerns, and clarifying doubts to ensure user confidence;
- Provide day-to-day support for users post-implementation, troubleshooting any issues that arise and ensuring system stability;
- Track user adoption and offer additional coaching or training where necessary to improve system usage and user proficiency;
- Gather and analyze user feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement of Ariba processes and tools;
- Collaborate closely with IT, procurement, and finance teams to ensure alignment on system usage and best practices across departments;
- Act as a liaison between users and the project team, facilitating communication to address concerns, updates, and any necessary changes promptly;
