As Technician, you’ll be assisting the Shift Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer in managing the engineering/maintenance of your hotel and ensure the safety and comfort of hotel guests and team members.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Assisting the Shift Engineer with the design of a preventative maintenance program
• Carrying out minor repairs at guest rooms or public areas
• Responding to requests from departments regarding minor maintenance issues throughout the day
• Liaising directly with departments regarding the completion of work orders and prioritize in order of guest satisfaction
• Completing work orders assigned by the Shift Engineer or Chief Engineer
• Conducting daily inspection and rectification of all public areas
• Ensuring pool chemical level is in accordance with legislative requirements and surrounding areas are maintained to standards established
• Handling duties as an Emergency Respond team member during fire, Bomb-threats and any emergency cases in the hotel

• A minimum Professional Certificate/ NiTEC/ Diploma in Engineering
• At least 1 years of relevant work experience
• Able to work rotating shift hours over weekends and public holidays
• Proactive and have an eye for details

Job Requirement

Job Responsibilities:

1. Able to inspect and repair passenger seats, galleys, and lavatories and maintain aircraft conditions.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft operations and activities and facility maintenance.
3. Install cabin interior components into commercial aircraft, including seat tracks, overhead bins, galleys, side panels, bulkheads, etc.
4. Perform functional and aesthetic inspection of aircraft cabin interiors.
5. Document any defects, perform troubleshooting and carry out rectification.
6. Support cabin modification, retrofitting and component repair tasks.
7. Maintain the quality of the aircraft interiors on the operated fleet.
8. Performs such other duties as assigned to him by his superiors.

Job Requirements

1. Must have an educational background in aviation, or
2. NITEC / Higher NITEC, preferably in an Engineering discipline
3. At least 2 years of working experience in the aviation industry, excluding OJT.
4. Ability to perform tasks in high-noise areas and at great heights.
5. Able to work in a warm and humid environment.
6. Able to communicate effectively verbally in writing in standard English.
7. Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
8. Welcome aircraft technician, who has experience in performing maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircrafts in one of the following trades: • Mechanical (B1) • Avionics (B2) • Sheetmetal • Cabin.
