Key responsibilities

· Test and troubleshoot instruments, components and assemblies using appropriate Test equipment.

· Test electrical equipment or systems to ensure proper functioning.

· Carry out Avionic Modifications including new wiring installations.

· Complete all tasks in the allotted time frame and to the quality standards of our company.

· Promote safety within the workplace by monitoring others and yourself to guarantee all tasks are performed within the safety manual guidelines, and communicate with other mechanics and supervisors to coordinate repairs and keep apprised of safety concerns.

· Keep records of maintenance and repair work. Maintain repair or maintenance records.

· Order supplies, equipment, materials and parts for repairs and general maintenance.

· Keep detailed records of the inspections performed, repairs finished, maintenance procedures and ordered parts.

· Carry out schedule servicing, and troubleshooting and defect rectification.

· Carry our good housekeeping and observe all Health and Safety Procedure.

· Any Ad-hoc assignment as assigned by Supervisor or Managers

Qualification / Expertise / Skills

• Minimum NITEC / Higher Nitec , Diploma in Aerospace Electronics / Aerospace Avionics.
• At least 2 years of experiences practical and documented aircraft maintenance experience.
• Those with experience on any of the following types; Fokker 100, ATR, E190 or B737,A320 would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Base Maintenance activities would be an added advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and examine aircraft components for leaks, cracks, breaks or other issues.
• Read and utilize maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogues, service bulletins and other maintenance documents to troubleshoot and complete work assignments.
• Maintain, repair, and rebuild aircraft structures, functional components, and parts such as wings and fuselage, rigging, hydraulic units, oxygen systems, fuel systems, gaskets, and seals.
• Perform routine maintenance operations, such as the replacement of equipment’s and aircraft components.
• Interpret specifications, or diagrams to inform installation, development or operation activities.
• Perform regular inspections to check for cracks, oil leaks, burned areas, foreign object damage, warping, distortions, missing segments and wear.
• Complete all tasks in the allotted time frame and to the quality standards of our company.
• Promote safety within the workplace by monitoring others and yourself to guarantee all tasks are performed within the safety manual guidelines, and communicate with other mechanics and supervisors to coordinate repairs and keep apprised of safety concerns.

Qualification / Expertise / Skills

• Minimum ITE holder or GCE ‘O’ Level or Aerospace Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experiences practical and documented aircraft maintenance experience.
• Those with experience on any of the following type B737,A320,Fokker 100 & ATR would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Base Maintenance activities would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Read and utilize blueprints, maintenance manuals, ATA codes, illustrated parts catalogues, service bulletins and other maintenance documents to troubleshoot and complete work assignments
• Maintain, repair, and rebuild aircraft structures, functional components, and parts such as wings and fuselage, rigging, hydraulic units, oxygen systems, fuel systems, gaskets, and seals
• Perform routine maintenance operations, such as the replacement of equipment’s and aircraft components
• Modify aircraft structures, space vehicles, systems, or components, following drawings, schematics, charts, engineering orders, and technical publications
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, or diagrams to inform installation, development or operation activities
• Perform hourly, daily and monthly inspections to check for cracks, oil leaks, burned areas, foreign object damage, warping, distortions, missing segments and wear
• Complete all tasks in the allotted time frame and to the quality standards of our company, our customers and the FAA
• Promote safety within the workplace by monitoring others and yourself to guarantee all tasks are performed within the safety manual guidelines, and communicate with other mechanics and supervisors to coordinate repairs and keep apprised of safety concerns
• Order supplies, equipment, materials and parts for repairs and general maintenance
• Keep detailed records of the inspections performed, repairs finished, maintenance procedures and ordered parts.

Requirements

• Min NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent OR
• NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Engineering with relevant Aerospace experience
