Job Responsiblities:

• The Senior Software Specialist is expected to actively participate in various stages of the software development lifecycle, including detailed design, coding, code walkthroughs, peer code reviews, unit testing, system testing, UAT, demos, POCs, installation, and maintenance of software modules.

Troubleshooting activities involve log analysis and database query optimization.

Desired Profile:

• 4 to 8 years of experience in development of enterprise applications using Java, J2EE, JavaScript, jQuery, MS SQL/Oracle database.
• The incumbent will be responsible for developing and installing robust software solutions.
• Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and delivering high-quality software projects using JAVA, Spring Boot, SQL/Oracle, J2EE, Junit, Mockito, jQuery, JavaScript, and other JAVA technologies.
• The individual should possess knowledge of Eclipse, GitHub, Soap UI, Postman, Jira, and SVN.
• The individual should possess knowledge of Newgen Product suite including iBPS, OmniDocs, OmniScan etc and well versed with the concepts of Business process management.
• The ideal candidate should demonstrate proficiency in web application security, REST/SOAP API, and possess expertise in performance and scalability.
• Experience in third-party integrations such as Corpass, SingPass, and Core Banking is essential.
• Familiarity with application servers like Apache Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss, and preferred.
• knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Jenkins, Sonar would be advantageous.
• Hands on experience on AWS platform would also be advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Implement effective cost control measures and manage cash flow efficiently
• Prepare monthly financial reports, such as managing asset accounting, creating journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating year-end financial reports.
• Manage payroll processing and CPF submissions.
• Ensure accurate and updated reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
• Complete bank reconciliations and maintain management schedules.
• Provide monthly detailed variance analysis for both balance sheet and profit and loss items, supporting management reporting.
• Assist with financial and tax audits.
• Ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance
• At least 2 - 4 years of full sets of accounts experience
• Ability to start work within short notice will be an added advantage
